Had a really wonderful dining experience here. The service was excellent from start to finish — attentive, friendly, and always checking in at the right time without being intrusive. The setting is beautiful and comfortable, with a cozy yet upscale atmosphere that makes it perfect for a nice dinner. The highlight was definitely the Wagyu beef. The marbling was incredible, super tender, and full of flavor once grilled. You can really taste the quality. Every bite was worth it. Will definitely come back again for the beef and the overall experience. Highly recommended!

What I really loved was the variety of different beef cuts available, you can really explore different textures and flavors in one meal. The Wagyu selection was outstanding, beautifully marbled and incredibly tender once grilled. We also tried their cold noodles and it was surprisingly refreshing. Light, flavorful, and a perfect balance to the rich grilled meat. The setting deserves a special mention too. Even though it’s a grill restaurant, the ventilation is excellent, we didn’t walk out smelling smoky at all. The space feels comfortable, well-designed, and upscale without being over the top.

Amazing quality of wagyu! And tbh, a steal for the price! We ordered the Champion, flank and ox tongue, all tasted sooooo good when grilled. Karubi soup is also very flavourful 👌🏻 overall, we had a very pleasant dinner! our second time back here and it’s our go to place to eat wagyu in JB

One of the best-value wagyu BBQ places I’ve tried! The quality of the meat is excellent for the price, you can get a wagyu platter for about 158, and everything is fresh and flavorful. The staff are super friendly and even help with the grilling, so everything comes out perfectly cooked. They also serve cooked dishes and other types of seafood, so it’s a great spot even if you don’t eat beef. Whether you’re coming as a couple or with a big group of friends, it’s a perfect place to enjoy a meal together. Highly recommend!

Great value for money! This Japanese restaurant offers excellent quality meat, the wagyu platter is amazing, especially considering it’s only around 158. The staff also help grill the meat for you, which makes the experience even better. The beef tongue is a must-try, it’s thick, juicy, and super tender. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the ventilation works really well, so you don’t leave smelling like BBQ at all!

Really good quality Japanese Wagyu beef 🥩! Good quality and value for money. The staff is really friendly and efficient. Have been here 5-6 times and the beef quality has been really consistent. Would love to wash it down with a draft beer or same but have to drive after.

We had the premium platter and extra portion of beef tongue. Meats were excellent and some melted in the mouth. So far one of the best A5 Japanese wagyu that u can eat in JB.

I recently ate at TORA MARU, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant feels elegant but comfortable. The space is calm and nicely decorated, making it a great place for a special night out. The staff were friendly, polite, and very attentive. The food was the best part. Everything looked beautiful and tasted fresh and flavorful. Each dish felt carefully prepared and high quality. The service was smooth and professional, and we never felt rushed. Overall, it’s a great restaurant for a special occasion or if you want to enjoy an excellent meal.

Went there for a celebration, and the place truly lived up to its great reviews on Google! The cuts of meat were excellent, and the ambience made us feel as if we were dining in Japan. The staff were kind and attentive, and the boss even came over to chat and surprised us with a slice of cake for my son’s birthday. Food is ok, but I expected better cuts of beef available. I ordered a platter and the meat was not labeled, neither did the server inform me of which cuts are in the platter. I enquired abt this but the server was unable to identify the cuts too.

First time try Toramaru Wagyu Yakiniku and seriously memang da boom! 😍 The meat melts in your mouth, it exceeded my expectations— lembut, juicy, terus cair! Worth every bite, Portion okay, service friendly — definitely worth recommending!

Decided to spend Xmas by treating myself and after some google/Instagram search, I came across Toramaru Wagyu Yakiniku. Was blown away by how good the food is! The staff are friendly and service is good. Gonna intro to my friends and Definitely will be back again! Left out 1 star for atmosphere because there were some unhappiness at work and one of the staff were ranting away openly while customers were still dining.

Wagyu beef is juice and melt in the mouth. Side dishes are amazing. Truly enjoyed the food and services.
