Hotel Traveltine Kyoto Kiyamachi

Absolutely fantastic hotel in Kyoto. From arrival the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very central and perfect for exploring all of the main sites. The room was very comfortable and overall really enjoyed the style of the hotel. Value for money is probably the best of anywhere I’ve ever stayed, and I really appreciated the light complimentary breakfast provided in the morning. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Great hotel in Kyoto. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and many attractions nearby. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and inexpensive compared to other options in the area. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. A great choice if you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay in Kyoto. I would definitely stay here again. 😊

최고의 경험을 한 숙소였습니다. 교토에서 1박만 한 것이 너무 아쉬울 정도로 훌륭한 숙소였어요! 방과 욕실은 굉장히 넓었어요! 이 가격에 거의 못 본 사이즈였고 샤워실이 분리되어 있는 것도 정말 좋았어요. 그리고 깨끗해서 쾌적했습니다! 위치도 주요 관광지, 특히 청수사가 가까워 산책 겸 걸어서 다녀올 수도 있고 15분 정도 걸으면 번화가도 나와서 이곳저곳 다니기 좋았어요. 또한 정말 친절하시고 영어도 잘하셔서 아무 불편함이 없었습니다. 특히 아침에 로비에서 무료로 몇 가지 빵과 커피, 요거트를 제공하는게 정말 마음에 들었네요! 이번 여행에서 교토라는 도시를 사랑하게 됐는데, 가장 큰 영향을 준 것이 이 숙소라는 점에 한치의 의심도 없어요! 저만 알고 싶은 숙소였지만 눈물을 머금고 리뷰 남깁니다..!!! (참고로, 냉난방 가동시 리모컨은 작동되는데 바로 안 켜지는 것처럼 보여요. 그거 원래 그런가봐요. 5~10분 정도 두면 알아서 켜지니 설정해두고 잠시 외출하시는 것도 좋을듯합니다.)

Come a casa! Soggiorno eccellente. L’hotel è praticamente nuovo, pulitissimo e in una posizione ottima. Il personale è gentilissimo: mi hanno accolto con estrema cordialità facendomi sentire subito come a casa. Le camere sono molto più grandi rispetto alla media di Kyoto, il che è un plus incredibile. Molto utile anche la colazione leggera, fondamentale per partire bene la mattina. Lo consiglio assolutamente!

The room is very impressive for the price. Very clean. And for the category of the hotel, which is business and this price normally the bedding and the pillow and the duvet is on the horrible side but here surprisingly it is very good. The bed and the duvet is really good. The pillow is not so good but not as bad as other hotels in the same category. The service is amazing. The staff comes to the lift to send you off and bow like in a 4-5 star hotel. The lobby is nice and you can hang out with the 24 hours free coffee, tea, and small treats

A lovely hotel, very walkable to most of the key spots you want to see in Kyoto. We stayed here twice in our trip as the location was good for the price. The rooms were decently sized (bigger than most in Japan). The bus stop is right opposite the hotel in case you’d like to take the bus to the station. There are 3 conbini stores around the vicinity making it very convenient for a late night snack. The ambience is beautiful - quiet yet lit up with Kyoto lamps, setting the vibe for a perfect evening stroll.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel. Le personnel était absolument adorable. Nous avons été très honoré des cadeaux qu’on nous avons reçu pour notre voyage de noces. Cet hôtel est notre meilleur souvenir (au niveau relationnel) au Japon. La chambre était très propre. L’hôtel est très bien placé. Il y a même un bus au pied de l’hôtel qui va directement à la gare. 初めて利用しました。 京都駅からバスで10分ほど、徒歩圏内で観光しました。 お部屋は広くて綺麗です。 無料軽朝食もとても嬉しかったです。 宿泊前に問い合わせの電話を何度かしましたが、対応がとても親切でこちらに決めた一つです。 今後も京都宿泊は、このホテルを利用します。 大満足の京都観光でした♪

룸은 작지만 화장실은 넓다 ! 교토가와라마치역이랑은 걸어서 10분 이내이다. 아침 9시까지 2층 로비에서 간단한 조식이 이용가능하다. 방으로도 가지고 갈 수 있다. 얼음과 커피도 2층에서 무료로 가능하다! 체크인 시 교토세금도 지불했다. 수건은 매일 교체해주시고 청소 주기는 4일이다! 수건 교체해주시면서 방을 간단하게 정리해주셔서 좋았다!

Al primo impatto, l’hotel non sembra niente di eccezionale invece, appena entrati si è accolti con una cortesia fuori dal Comune. Inoltre, le camere sono spaziosi e confortevoli. Anche se la popolazione non è compresa, viene servita quella che loro considerano un veloce breakfast molto sostanzioso. Insomma, rapporto qualità, prezzo eccellente e posizione fantastica, assolutamente consigliato.

I totally recommend this hotel. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities you need, and the staff are very nice and speak English. The facilities are neat and clean, and you have kombis and restaurants nearby. And if you walk for 15 minutes, you will find the shopping area. So it has a good location too. 100% recommend!

Hôtel très bien placé, d’une propreté impeccable (c’est le Japon !). Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent et le service est exceptionnel, digne d’un quatre étoiles à Paris. Franchement, il dépasse toutes les attentes. Si je pouvais mettre 10 étoiles, je le ferais avec plaisir.

原先預約的雙人房電視壞掉，館方幫我們改到低樓層的豪華雙人房。 室內照明都是低亮度黃光，在閱讀和化妝上不方便，其他部分都很完美。 房內提供充足的衣架，即使冬天大衣很多件也能掛，也有加濕器兼空氣清淨機、冷暖氣，床很舒適一躺下就睡著，浴室水溫水壓充足不需等候熱水，暖氣讓整間房都溫暖，冬天洗澡也不覺得冷。 每天上午6-9點在大廳提供免費的早餐，有小麵包4種、各種起司和優格（在洗衣房前），全日提供免費的咖啡和果汁，洗衣房有兩台洗烘衣機、自動販賣機和製冰機，飯店對面1分鐘路程也有一家自助洗衣店，兩者都不需自備洗衣劑。 房內提供洗手/洗面泡沫、沐浴、洗髮、護髮乳、吹風機、小冰箱、睡袍，櫃檯提供棉花棒、刮鬍刀、化妝水、化妝棉。

Amazing atmosphere, clean rooms with a beautiful view of the city, and incredibly helpful staff who truly respect their guests. We were lucky enough to receive the most beautiful souvenir gift from Mrs. Namae. We ended our stay in Kyoto with big smiles and wonderful memories!

Zeker aan te raden! De kamer was mooi, ruim en schoon. Al het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik had voor 3 dagen een fiets gehuurd, die ik op de onderste verdieping mocht parkeren. Er zijn meer dan genoeg leuke eet tentjes en meerdere supermarkten in de buurt, daarnaast kan je lopen naar nishiki market en dingen als Yasakana shrine. Hoewel het wat verder is van kyoto station, is er een metro verbinding naar Nara en Osaka om de hoek. Het enige verbeterpuntje is dat het ontbijt niet super veel voorsteld, maar dat was geen probleem.

올해 2월에 다녀왔지만 아직까지 기억이날정도로 너무 좋은 숙소였습니다. 직원분들 너무 친절했구요.주변에 청수사 도보로 15분 남짓이어서 가모강 산책겸 아침에 가기 너무 좋았습니다. 그리고 길건너에 있는 떡집 너무 맛있어요. 이숙소와 떡집 때문에 다시 교토에 방문하고 싶습니다.

El lugar está muy bueno!!! Habitación está de 10!!! Tiene todos los detalles cubiertos, no le falta nada. Totalmente recomendado, tiene un a excelente ubicación a unos 500 metros de la mejor zona de la ciudad para pasear y hacer compras.

Location: The hotel is at the southeastern end of the bustling area of the west bank of the river. I would say that the lively part of Kyoto on the west bank is roughly a rectangle that starts about 200 meters north of the hotel, measuring 2 kilometers north and about 500 meters west. Hotel: The hotel itself is small and without special facilities. A lobby where you can sit around round tables, where breakfast is also served, minimal continental, but for me sufficient. In the lobby there is a coffee machine, tea and juices that can be used at all hours of the day. Staff: The hotel staff is very friendly Rooms: The room we took is called a superior double. The size is sufficient, although another 2 square meters would have been very helpful. There is no storage space in the room, things are hung on hooks. There is a sofa, a chair and a small round table in the room. The shower is spacious and luxurious. The bed is queen size and the mattress is very good. Overall, a very good room.

車椅子トイレが見つからなくて、宿泊予定ではないのに大変申し訳ないと思いながら、お借りしました。 快くご丁寧に案内していただき、大変助かりました。京都宿泊の際は選ばせていただきます。また知人にも紹介させていただこうと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

Amazing hotel! The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, the rooms are spacious and very soundproofed so we didn’t hear any road noise at all. We didn’t have any Dyson hairdryers in our room and there are no more bikes on site for use anymore. The location is amazing, it’s walkable to so many popular locations in Kyoto. This is probably our favourite hotel for this trip based on cost to value! We will definitely be back :)
