This is a beautiful and meaningful place to understand the rich history, culture, and spiritual heritage of Makkah. The exhibition is well organized and thoughtfully designed, with exhibits that cover the history of the city, Islamic civilization, and the development of the Holy Sites. The displays include historical artifacts, old photographs, maps, and models that clearly show how Makkah has evolved over time. Walking through the museum gives a deeper appreciation of the sacrifices, struggles, and devotion connected to this sacred city. For pilgrims, the visit feels especially spiritual, as it strengthens the connection between historical knowledge and faith. It encourages reflection on the journey of Islam and the importance of Makkah beyond what we see today. The environment is calm, clean, and peaceful. Please note that the exhibition hall **closes during prayer times**, which is respectfully observed. **Zamzam water is available** for visitors, adding a thoughtful and spiritual touch to the experience. Entry is free when i visited On November 17,2025. I highly recommend visiting the this place for anyone performing Umrah or Hajj who wants to enrich their spiritual journey with historical understanding and reflection.

Great place to visit with some good artifacts, some daring back to the Ottoman era circa 1300 AD. However, many are replicas or models and not the original items but they are clearly identified as such. No entry fee as of Jan 2026. Few suggestions for improvement: 1. The gold plaques with black text describing each exhibit item is barely readable. A simple white background with white text on a matte finish would be better and also show up better in photos. 2. The lighting causes a lot of reflection against the glass of the exhibits which makes taking photos a challenge. 3. A little bit more history and context along with the titles of the exhibits would add so much more educational value to each exhibit. 4. I noticed many people that came were not native English or arabic speakers and likely had no clue what they were looking at or the history or context of the exhibits. Perhaps a 2D barcode at each exhibit that links to a prerecorded description I'm multiple languages describing the exhibits would help.

Please, if you are in Mecca, visit this museum. It is incredibly beautiful and is very informative. Take your time, read everything, and you won't be disappointed.

Umreye gelmişken görülmesi gereken bir müze.Kabenin eski kapıları kuranlar Hacerül esvedin değiştirilen metal plaka gibi tarihi eserler var.Zemzem kuyusu ve kabı orijinal. Görülmesini tavsiye ederim.

يُعد معرض معرض عمارة الحرمين الشريفين من أبرز المعالم الثقافية الإسلامية التي تُجسد تاريخ العناية بالمسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي عبر العصور. يقع المعرض في مكة المكرمة، وقد أُنشئ ليكون نافذة علمية وتاريخية تُبرز الجهود الكبيرة التي بُذلت في خدمة الحرمين الشريفين، وتعريف الزوار بمراحل تطور عمارتهما والتقنيات المستخدمة في صيانتهما. افتُتح المعرض في عهد الملك فهد بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، ويُشرف عليه الرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، ويُعتبر جزءًا من الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها المملكة العربية السعودية للحفاظ على قدسية الحرمين الشريفين وتطوير مرافقهما. يهدف المعرض إلى توثيق التاريخ العمراني والفني للحرمين، إضافة إلى تثقيف الزوار حول مراحل التوسعة والتحديث التي شهدها هذان المكانان المقدسان. يضم المعرض عددًا كبيرًا من القاعات التي تحتوي على مقتنيات نادرة وقطع تاريخية أصيلة، مثل أبواب قديمة للكعبة المشرفة، ونماذج لمآذن المسجد الحرام، وأجزاء من كسوة الكعبة المشرفة التي تم تغييرها عبر السنوات. كما يعرض نماذج معمارية دقيقة تُظهر تطور البناء والتوسعة منذ العهد الإسلامي الأول حتى العصر الحديث. ومن خلال هذه النماذج، يستطيع الزائر أن يلمس التحولات الكبيرة التي طرأت على تصميم المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي. كما يحتوي المعرض على قسم مخصص لعرض مراحل صناعة كسوة الكعبة المشرفة، حيث يُعرض فيه الأدوات والمواد المستخدمة في الحياكة، إضافة إلى شرح تفصيلي للخطوات التي تمر بها عملية التصنيع، بدءًا من اختيار الحرير الطبيعي، مرورًا بصبغه وتطريزه بخيوط الذهب والفضة، وانتهاءً بتركيبه على الكعبة. ويُعد هذا القسم من أكثر الأقسام جذبًا للزوار، لما يحمله من طابع فني وروحي مميز. ومن الجوانب المهمة التي يُبرزها المعرض أيضًا، التقنيات الحديثة المستخدمة في إدارة الحشود داخل المسجد الحرام، مثل أنظمة التبريد، ومراقبة الكثافة البشرية، وتنظيم حركة الطواف والسعي. كما يُعرض في المعرض فيلم وثائقي يوضح مراحل التوسعة الكبرى التي شهدها الحرم، خاصة في العهد السعودي، والتي ساهمت في استيعاب ملايين الحجاج والمعتمرين سنويًا. ويُقدم المعرض تجربة تعليمية متكاملة، حيث يُرافق الزوار مرشدون متخصصون يقدمون شروحات مفصلة حول كل قسم، مع استخدام الوسائط المتعددة مثل الشاشات التفاعلية والعروض ثلاثية الأبعاد. كما يُتاح للزوار الاطلاع على وثائق تاريخية وصور نادرة تُوثق لحظات مهمة في تاريخ الحرمين الشريفين. إن معرض عمارة الحرمين الشريفين لا يقتصر دوره على عرض المقتنيات، بل يتجاوز ذلك ليكون مركزًا للوعي الحضاري والديني، يُبرز عظمة الإسلام واهتمامه بالعمران والجمال، ويُجسد الجهود المستمرة في خدمة أقدس بقاع الأرض. ومن خلال هذا المعرض، يدرك الزائر حجم العناية والرعاية التي يحظى بها الحرمين الشريفين، ويخرج بتجربة غنية تجمع بين المعرفة والإيمان والتأمل في عظمة هذا التراث الإسلامي العريق. أ. آدم يعقوب موسي البستكور

Very good and informative museum. They have collected maximum of old stuff that is removed from the harem and preserved it very well.

Small exhibition area but impressive physical artifacts. Much better than some other digital museums in Makkah.

متحف رائع، منسق بشكل جميل، ثري بمحتوياته القيمة، يستحق الزيارة. لا يحتاج إلى تذاكر ولا موعد.

Museum is good but kiswa kaba factory don't allow to go and see the making of kiswa just take us in a hole wear show us a documentary video of making kiswa and at last i requirements to go must the other Museum is situated at jadha road is best to visit.
