Udipi Home Egmore

Matsya Restaurant in the ground floor is a decent for veg. The rooms are old but manageable. There is no hot water. There is a TV but the channels stopped showing from the 2nd day of our stay, 1st day most of the channels are visible. I would not recommend this restaurant for family. It is suitable for single or for men.

We often visit this place in the evening especially my wife likes their mangalore bondas and I like their rasa vadai. Typical Udipi style food. Good choice for vegetarian and they do serve North Indian cuisine too

It looks like a old lodge not like a 3 star hotel. Rooms are big but lod fashioned and not properly arranged. Cleanliness is not good. They are charging ₹2800 per day excluding GST but they could not even provide hot water. They would not respond even though we inform. Only positive thing about this hotel is food quality which is good but very costly. One tea is ₹59 and Doosai is around ₹120. We stayed for two days. We are feeling very bad and never suggest any body to visit this

Rooms are spacious. Hotel located in prime location very close to Egmore Railway Station. Room cleanliness can be improved by changing bathroom door mats regularly.

Excellent. Whenever I visit Chennai, I stay in this hotel only. For the past 20 years I am seeing the hotel. The Front office staff are very cooperative and soft spoken.

Rooms are clean and neat... Service was good during our stay... I got balcony room, the view was good...The hotel was situated just 50 to 100 metres from Egmore railway station...They will give complementary breakfast for their package...

We stayed in Udupi home egmore. Found infested with a rat quiet a big one.

No hot water, infested with cockroaches, haphazard cleaning. Apart from the rooms being spacious, budget wise friendly & location being perfect with a 10% discount & a complimentary breakfast. What is the use if it's without any amenities & a thorough refurbishing is required in the hotel infrastructure

Very bad service... Didn't provide complementary breakfast and rude behaviour.... We have travelled long way and came for religious purpose.. Ane Udipi hotel manger ane reception man are very bad... Didn't like the way they are speaking.. We are paying high amount so why are they not providing the service mention in the list??? Bad people Udipi home.

An excellent location just 2 minutes from Egmore Railway Station. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is delightful. We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality and all the assistance. Thank you so much, Sir!

Worst Service Ever if you order it in Swiggy All food items was not properly checked and packing was not done properly. Items Missing. No communication and confirmation on the items are being checked with customer. Online service agent of Swiggy very bad and worst service ever. You could order if you want to just sit thinking your food will be recieved for an hour with just plain food but no side items with it . Online service and operation

Totally impressed! I was greeted with a welcome package including water bottle, towel, and cookies ( 5/5 taste). The room was very clean, and the fans showed no signs of dust. To my surprise, when I returned from running errands in the evening, the room had already been tidied up. The staff's hospitality was exceptional. And, you can order food to be delivered to your room itself. Highly recommend if you consider excellent hygiene, food quality and hospitality factors while booking room.

We had booked Udipi home at the last minute but our experience turned out to be one of the best. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous, Room service was excellent. But the best part is the size of the room and the bathroom. It was very big for our family of 4. Very clean and tidy. The location is also very good. I would definitely recommend the hotel for families. Thank you Udipi home for the wonderful experience.

I stayed at Udipi Egmore Chennai for a day and was impressed. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious with necessary amenities. The highlight was the delicious vegetarian cuisine with a wide variety of options to choose from. The breakfast was particularly impressive with authentic South Indian dishes. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai, especially if they are looking for good vegetarian food.

I'm happy with the service. Clean and compact room... I stayed single AC room.. very happy

Room and toilet is pretty decent and clean. People at reception are decent. Good place for middle class families. The complementary breakfast was very good, different types of chutney was tasty. The only thing is some people were smoking and drinking where the smoke was built in my room as well and were making noises, which has to be taken care by staff.
