Used to be better, now its unorganized , inadequate number of cashiers, long quos. Water storage is behind the cashier area. Place needs better management, better bakery area, better storage area , This place is a mess .

I am regular customer of this supermarket for a long time and now since few months my experience at this place is very disappointing. Since they changed their arrangements and promotional displays it’s become very hard to shop there and always the promotional products are not available. The current market situation is very pathetic and I am very sad it has become in this situation. The more disappointing things that butchery is not showing any interest to customer and I feel they are trying to run away from us. Galaxy chocolate were placed in between soap and detergents. Really it has lost its reputation. I hope they will understand this problems and come back strongly. Good luck!

Every section of the store is a testament to thoughtful display and variety. The shelves are stocked with large quantities of products, ensuring that we rarely, if ever, encounter an empty spot or a missing essential. It’s impressive to see almost all brands represented, offering a wide range of options from budget-friendly to high-end, catering to the needs and wants of all customers. The car parking is another highlight, removing any stress about finding a spot. However the number of parking slots are limited.

The place where you get your groceries and home needs under one roof. Although some of the products are far expensive from other Coop or grocery shops, but they have nice collections of fresh fruits and different products.

Everything is good, except the butcher section. Butcher is not nice and will try to sell you the worst cut to get rid of it.

It was Saturday, June 28, 2025. I went to the grill section for a chicken shawarma. They kept me waiting for 20 minutes. I asked at least three times in 20 minutes to give it to me. They told me to wait saying they would give it to me. Then after 20 minutes when I asked they said they were making it, wait. Later I left from there. I am a working man. My clothes were not good. They give the most value to those who have good clothes and money and those who live in this country and those who have money from outside who give tips. They have no time for low quality people like us. I have never expected such treatment from Union Coop Supermarket. I will never go to Union Coop to get food again. I have learned my lesson🥲🥲🥲. If anyone reads my review, none of you should go either. They do not know how to treat people well. They do not understand the value of people's time. 🥲

This used to be my favorite Union Coop ever since it first opened in our neighborhood. I would always recommend it to my friends because the old layout was spacious, well organized, and made shopping so easy. You could find everything you needed in 30 minutes or less. But to my surprise during my recent visit, the new layout felt like a downgrade. The store now looks cramped, less clean, and not as fresh as it used to. What was once a single, well arranged aisle is now divided into four smaller sections, which makes shopping inconvenient and time consuming. It’s disappointing to see such a great store lose the charm and efficiency it once had. Unfortunately, this will probably be my last time shopping here. It went from feeling like a modern, sleek grocery store to something that looks over 10 years old.

The worst experience I had this morning. This morning, I went to the Shop Union Cooperative Umm Suquim. I approached the cashier to bill my stuff, and she told me that you did not notice that I am talking to someone, so why did you bring your stuff bill here with me?. I informed her, mam, you are a cashier and I am a customer. You cannot tell me that I am talking to someone while bringing my stuff for billing. I frequently visit many union co-ops in Dubai to get items for my home where I work. But this was the first time I'd had a cashier tell me I am talking to someone you didn't see it. If she can't resist talking to someone, she can either stand outside the cash counter and finish the conversation before returning to her seat, or she can keep counter closed board until she finishes the conversation. Finally I took my stuff and approached another cash counter for bill my stuff.

Dear team, I would like to inform you that we faced rude behavior again from the mutton meat area staff (Egyptian guy). This is our second bad experience while buying meat.

If there is less than 1 star I’ll give , from one of the top supermarkets to zero I am not coming back again till the quality of the groceries I used to buy comes back again … the worst change ever ever , I couldn’t find anything to buy was shocked.

The butchers Mahmoud and Hasan were excellent. The quality of meat is great so is the service.
