Beautiful restored ship, and it's awesome you can walk around the entire ship to see all angles. Nice short film, you should watch in the beginning. There's also an audio tour that's free, app on your phone. It's chilly in there, so bring a jacket.

My Swedish roommate recommended I see this and I’m so glad I did! It’s not something I would usually be interested in but being there I couldn’t stop thinking “wow!” To see the detail in the boat and even just its grandeur is incredible. I super recommend the FREE audio guide!!! You just go to their website, follow the map, and listen to the correct language while you walk around! It’s insanely well done and really immerses you in the experience. Also a really nice cafe and gift shop!

Das Schiff sollte man unbedingt live gesehen haben, ansonsten kann man es sich nicht wirklich vorstellen. Außerdem gibt es lebendig gewordene Geschichte in unzähligen Exponaten und Schautafeln. Die Geschichte rund um das damalige Geschehen wird eindrucksvoll zum Leben erweckt. Ein Muss für jeden Besuch in Stockholm.

Le musée Vasa à Stockholm est un incontournable et l’un des musées les plus fascinants au monde pour les amateurs d’histoire maritime. Il abrite le navire de guerre Vasa, somptueusement conservé depuis son naufrage en 1628, offrant un spectacle impressionnant dès l’entrée. Le musée combine des galeries pédagogiques, des maquettes, des films et des expositions interactives qui expliquent la construction du navire, sa tragique expédition et les techniques de conservation. La scénographie est claire et immersive, permettant de passer facilement 1 à 2 heures à contempler ce chef-d’œuvre de l’ère suédoise du XVIIᵉ siècle. C’est une expérience saisissante autant pour les passionnés d’histoire que pour les visiteurs occasionnels.

One of the best museums in Stockholm and definitely a must visit! I listened to the audio guide which helped in understanding the history of Vasa, a very interesting one. For those who love boats and history, this is the right place.

This place is amazing. As soon as we walked in we were taken aback by the size of the ship towering over us. We had the pleasure of Sven giving us a tour, and what an informative guide he was. Very enthusiastic and captivating. We really enjoyed this museum. Highly recommend, even if you’re not into maritime history.

Sweden has some interesting history. This is one that I found to be an excellent learning visit. With Sweden's participation in the 30 years war and the battles versus the other empires of the time it was interesting to learn more about why naval supremacy was so important. This museum is very impressive.

Super interessant und faszinierend was Menschen/ Handwerker mit den einfachsten Werkzeugen herstellen konnten. Aber auch die Geschichte wie das Schiffswrack nach 333 Jahren geborgen wurde ist schon sehr beeindruckend. Unbedingt sehenswert 👍

There is only one thing to see in this museum but man I am so glad that I did see it. It is so impressive to see such a well preserved ship from that period and how nice the wood work and all the sculpted details. One cannot visit Stockholm without seeing this. I highly recommend

Come dalle foto non ci si rende conto di quanto sia grande. Per tutto questo il museo merita la visita accurata, sono soldi e tempo spesi veramente bene. Congratulazioni agli svedesi!

Epic. Wasn’t prepared for the scale and details. The whole museum was very nicely set out with very cool information and the ship is just beyond anything else I could compare it to. Very cool experience 100% recommend if you’re in Stockholm. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing so we didn’t have enough time to look at everything in details so I would definitely recommend giving at least an hour to see everything.

Ce musée est magnifique. Je ne connaissais pas l’histoire du navire et la visite a été très intéressante. Le respect apporté aux marins retrouvés est émouvant d’une lettre d’identification un prénom leur a été donné. C’est vraiment impressionnant ce travail de recherches et de reconstitution. Bravo à toutes les équipes qui travaillent et qui ont travaillées pour nous apporter ce chef d’œuvre.

The Vasa Museum is absolutely fantastic!! If you are visiting Stockholm then a visit here is a must. As soon as you walk into this fantastic museum you are confronted with this majestic ship. We spent most of the morning here and it is a fascinating story and experience spread out over several floors each with a superb view of the ship. There really is something magical about the Vasa Museum. Of course there is the obligatory shop at the end.

I was fascinated by the overwhelming presence of the Vasa, the first thing I saw as I entered the entrance. There was a detailed exhibit of the construction methods used at the time of its salvage, which gave me an understanding of the hard work that went into its recovery. It was my first time seeing a sailing ship made of real oak, and the texture was amazing.

At the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, you can see a huge and wonderfully preserved ship – the 17th-century warship Vasa. It's impressive and makes a huge impression. There are also interactive exhibitions, a film about the ship's history, and a wealth of exhibits. You can buy a ticket on-site without queuing. We spent about 1.5 hours on the tour, and an audio guide is available.

It is my first time to see such giant and well-preserved ancient sunken wooden ship. The museum is divided into several levels, allowing visitors to view the ship from different angles. In addition to its functions for transportation and combat, the wooden ship features exquisitely detailed carvings throughout. The museum also presents the history of how the ship was discovered, excavated, and salvaged, making it well worth a visit.

Take advantage of the free tours from the museum staff - provided a great overview before we explored on our own. It’s very impressive how they recovered and are restoring the ship. We appreciated the displays on the recovery efforts and the people presumed to be onboard.
