⸻ I recently visited Verandah Cafe near the beautiful Lake Pichola, and it turned out to be a really lovely experience. The ambience here is absolutely stunning—easily a 5/5. The serene lakeside vibe, aesthetic decor, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. It’s one of those places where you can truly enjoy the beauty of Udaipur while having a calm dining experience. The service was also top-notch (5/5). The staff was courteous, attentive, and ensured everything was served smoothly without delays. Coming to the food, I ordered Vegetable Biryani, Alfredo Pasta, Farmhouse Pizza, and Coke. The overall taste was quite good, and I’d rate it a 4/5. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, though there’s still a little room for improvement to make it exceptional. Overall, Verandah Cafe is a must-visit if you’re looking for a place with beautiful ambience, great service, and good food by the lake. Perfect for a chill outing or a peaceful meal with a view.

I have spent so much beautiful time at Verandah by Lake Pichola. This place is very special to me. I have visited many times, and every time the experience has been amazing. The ambience, lake view, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time. The food is delicious, and the staff is very polite and attentive. The ambience is absolutely beautiful-calm, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing meal by the lake. The service is quick and impressive, and the staff is very well-behaved and courteous. A special appreciation to Tapendar and Ishwar for their excellent hospitality. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit.

Food and ambience are one of the best in udaipur. If you want to enjoy your delicious meal with proximity to the lake it's the best place. Special mention to staff Tapinder and chef Akash for the service and mouth watering meal. All in all if you are in udaipur do give this place a visit

Had a wonderful dining experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented but the quantity of food is not be appropriate as per they are charged for it.The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The lakeside View from restaurant feels so soothing but they have to improve quality and quantity of food otherwise good experience with Verandah.

I had an amazing experience here. We sat right by the lake, and the view was stunning. The food is high quality, and the kebab platter is a must try, perfectly cooked. To top it off, the service was excellent and very attentive. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing place to have Lunch/ Dinner at Udaipur. Awesome view. I’m visiting it the second day in a row. A place where you can sit, relax, have food and work too. Amazing food and great service by Mr. Tapender.

I had dinner here and ordered the Dhungaar Maas. The lamb is tender and flavourful. The view by the lake is not toward the main lake but offered different vibe (quiet and peaceful). Highly recommended for lunch or dinner. Special shout out to Tapendra. He has been helping me in the last few days. Extremely patiently listening to me and recommending food accordingly. He certainly made the visit more delightful!

우다이푸르의 마지막 방문장소로 이 레스토랑을 골랐습니다. 뷰가 정말 아름답고 석양이 져서 붉어지는 건물들을 바라볼 수 있습니다. 로맨틱하고 아주 좋았어요. 커피와 브라우니도 맛있었고 직원응대도 좋았어요. 화장실이 가까이에 있어 편합니다.

I'm surprised how is this place underrated. The views are stunning so peaceful and quiet The pool is gorgeous Majestic lake side views The service was top notch, tapinder bhaiya was really helpful with suggestions. Hot chocolate was tempting and great presentability Perfect aesthetics. The best biscoff cheesecake I've had so far.

Had a really nice experience at this beautiful lakeside café. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, with a lovely view of the lake that makes it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. We tried the Aglio-e-Olio, Veg Dimsums, and Ching Pong Paneer, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Ching Pong Paneer was the standout for me; a refreshing change from the usual chilli paneer, with a unique taste and preparation that I genuinely enjoyed. The mocktails were amazing too, very refreshing and well-balanced. The only thing that didn’t work for me was the Nutella cheesecake; it just wasn’t to my liking. Special mention to Deepak for his warm and attentive service, which made our visit even better. Overall, a great place for good food, drinks, and a peaceful lakeside vibe. Definitely worth visiting!

Ordered fish fingers—they were stale; ordered kungpao chicken—the dish was black and rusty. It neither tasted nor looked like kungpao. I ordered their special Jaipuria veg, which tasted much worse than standard mixed vegetables. We don't generally waste food, but with the above-ordered meals, we ended up leaving almost all of it and spent about 3,000 bucks. Now,let me get to the vibe; more than the lake, the restaurant was built on the mushy ghat. It's fine at night, but in the morning, you can see the lake or ghat blanketed with dirt.

Great food, great atmosphere and service was lovely - Tapinder was great. Best dishes were biriyani, laal Maas, Manchurian, spicy honey potato. Brownie wasn’t good, tasted like a dry cake.

Had a wonderful experience at Verandah By The Lake! The ambience, location, food, and service were all excellent. The food had a perfect balance of flavors—not too spicy, not too mild. The lake-view setting is beautiful and great for photography. The staff was polite, friendly, and very helpful. A special thanks to Sahil, who went out of his way to help us and clicked some amazing photos for us without any hesitation. Highly recommended for a relaxing meal with great views and hospitality!

Had some really good food by the Lake at Verandah. We had ordered for some Canon veg kebab platter followed with Some really nice chilly garlic noodles and Some Cocktails. Everything was made tastefully well and we enjoyed the calm Next to the lake. Ask for Rakesh over there he was extra helpful with everything ❤️

Excellent multi-cultural cuisine with beautiful views of the lake (fountain comes on at 6pm). I highly recommend the local laal maas - spicy and flavorful. Dapinder provided amazing service. Would highly recommend!

We were planning for the best dinner when we were visiting Udaipur. I had done research for so many places and finally decided to take a chance and book a table in the restaurant. And guess I really did a good job😅 finding this place. It was totally up the hype and my husband finally appreciated the place I booked. Thank you for making our first time in Udaipur memorable and the start of the trip amazing. And also it was a 10 year anniversary trip so this place was a cherry on top.
