VFV - Pure Veg

We had dal bati churma and rajasthani thali. Dal bati churma is good. The bati is dipped in ghee and breaking easily. The thali included gatte ki sabji, matar paneer ki sabji, kadhi, boondi rayata, lahsun chatni along with roti, chapati and rice. All dishes are good. The cost of dal bati churma is rs 220 and the cost of the rajasthani thali was rs 200. Overall the place serves good food for the price.

Daal Baati is top notch. Although the place is small and parking to get here is little difficult BUT this place is highly recommended if you are fan of dal baati and litti chokha. We tried there limited dal baati to give a try and we were impressed. You get 4 baati and a portion of daal sufficient for 1 person.

We loved VFV. We ordered daal bati, litti chokha, fondue pav bhaji and few more things. All the dishes taste authentic and they are really delicious. The best part is that all these comes at a very reasonable price. Having Rajashthani lunch sitting on a khatiya was a unique experience in today's urban life. There is not much space available. So if you are planning on a weekend, be ready for some waiting time.

Such a rubbish food quality. Don't even try to go there.......Bad quality oil and Litti ko galti se mat khana......They keep litti in fridge for 4-5 days....and when they get order.....Warm those Litti on sigdi and give it. Pathetic food . You can see the litti photo .

We had Daal Batti Churma and it was amazing the flavour of daal and soft but crisp batti was excellent with sweet churma. Daal batti churma is highly recommended

Superb food, great ambience, very nice service. Each item we ordered was very delicious - Dal Bati, Litti Chokha, Masala Chhanch, aloo paratha. We made repeat orders for the choorma. Nice dhaba style seating with air conditioned space is very comfortable.

Food taste is okay okay as we tried veg thali there. Also vibe is not much good.

A place for Typical Authentic Rajasthani Food... ( Especially "Daal Baati",loved there Maharaja thali & litti chokha.gatte ki sabji was my favourite in the thali .Food here is absolutely delicious. Loved the village theme ambience with typical village style sitting.Staff was very supportive & kind.Very affordable Thali’s with authentic taste in pune is a must try if you’re around vimannagar .

This is the place for pure vegetarian lover. But food taste is not that much good. Being a foodie I tried Litti Chokha which was good, masala chach was delicious, masala papad was good but manchurian they served was sweet. Manchuria was tasteless seems they mixed sugar in it. A great place for rajasthani food. Will recommend dal batti and their jain thali. They have one of the best gatte ki sabzi in pune. They also provide catering for events.

Overall a decent restaurant for casual lunch dinner, especially if you are looking for Desi and rajasthan meal. Chilli paneer I ordered was sour and sweet but they accepted the mistake and offered another but we were full. There big thaali is also good for 2 people with decent diet.

Me and my partner visited VFV had different things to Order - a Regular thali and Bal bati thali but owner suggested the Maharaja Thali which consists of both in the single thali that too unlimited and can be shared. Every item on the plate was delicious, authentic and had perfect blend of flavours. Quantity is huge which is enough for two that was already served. Fairly priced as per the quantity and quality served. Ambience and hospitality is great.

We had unlimited dal batti . Food was good, but request them hot batti while serving. Server said mocktails are not available but i think table besides had it. Service is good.

I went there with my dad on (4th Oct 2024), & we ordered two dishes- Rajma rice and Puri bhaji. Rajma rice was just average in taste and Puri bhaji was good. Rajma chawal mein bilkul bhe swad nahe tha aur rajma ke gravy to dale he nahe unhone. The quantity was also too huge for a single person to eat. Puri bhaji was good but 🔥 spicy. I won't this recommend this place until and unless you want to burn you intestine. Food -5/10 Atmosphere-0/10 There was too much loud music which isn't recommended for families. There was no sufficient 🚨 lighting facility also. We couldn't view our meal properly. Suggestion- Improve the taste of food/ change your chef's, & stop 🛑 this loud music 🎵.

Very poor good quality. I ordered from here and the food was very bad. Do not waste your money here. This is the kind of paneer & aloo paratha they serve.

Old review: Amazing food ..with an amazing guy out there ... We ordered chinese noodles with manchurian gravy it was awesome ..worth every penny. Updated review: We visited and took our friends with very high hopes but the food was not tasty this time ...chinese was okayish the soup had undercooked starchy flavour but chole was very very bland. Our small party failed miserably. Not sure if they have different chefs during daytime which might be the reason. No one was there to take orders quickly and we observed one of the waiters is very very rude. I hope the owner takes this review positively as initially we really liked it.

After having thali here, I got stomach problems. They are serving low quality food. Food was also tasteless. Sabzi were totally cold, not sure it was fresh or not. Daal was completely tasteless. Not recommended at all. We are spending 600-700 on thali and we are getting food that causing our health.

Very bad experience at VFV Pure Veg Restaurant. We were served spoiled Pav Bhaji and spoiled Paneer. The food smelled bad and tasted stale, which is completely unacceptable, especially from a pure veg restaurant. This is a serious hygiene and quality issue. Very disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. Food safety should be a top priority
