"We returned to Vila Goesa for the second time in the third week of February 2026, and our second visit was just as relaxing as the first! it remains our favorite spot for a relaxing family stay in North Goa. The climate was perfect, allowing us to fully enjoy the property's stunning green surroundings. What we love most is that it’s a charming, 'good old' property with a unique character. Highly recommended for families looking for a quiet, green oasis in the heart of Calangute/Baga! The private beach access is a huge plus, offering a peaceful way to reach the shore away from the usual crowds. The staff was attentive. Lawrence, Vikas and the team helped us with local food recommendations and guiding us on how to best use the resort's facilities. We’ll definitely be back for a third visit!"

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was warm and helpful, and the overall environment was perfect for a stress-free getaway. I’m from Chennai. Reception guys are very friendly. Swimming pools are clean. The entire premises is cleanly maintained. I see this is the only property which has pathway to beach. Don’t worry about plenty of place available there behind the property. I took room along with breakfast for Rs.150 food is worth. Value for money. Note: Directly speak with Mr.Gonslave.

The room amenities appeared to be quite dated, and the bathroom condition could be improved. Upon arrival, the bathroom was stocked only with two small shampoos and two small hand soaps; other basic toiletries such as shower gel, a dental kit, a shaving kit, as well as a bucket and mug, were not provided. There was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom. When I inquired about these items, I was informed that most of them are not part of the standard amenities, and that a bucket and mug are provided only upon request. Although I requested them, I was told there would be a delay due to housekeeping staff availability. On a positive note, the greenery is very well maintained, and the beach pathway from the villa is truly beautiful and enjoyable.

Service is bad and rooms are also not clean. When we visited they told that staff is out on leave that's the reason they are facing shortage of staff issue. Rest just for vacation when you do not wish to spend your day in room and just want to sleep in hotel this is a good place.

I generally don't review but this is must to save people. Pathetic room service. First of all they did not have phone in the room to call for order or room service. Second bad experience was they charged 300 rs for electric water heater kettle, like are you serious i paid 4500/- per night for a room and I have to pay for kettle separately. I would have bought a new kettle in this price. 😠 The food specially tea they serve taste like sewerage water. Yuk🥶 The bed was nigtmare. I would not recommend this at all.

Beautiful beachside property with an amazing vibe. The staff takes care of guests like family, which truly makes the stay special. Special thanks to Vikas ji for all the help and perfect arrangements. The resort is ideally located between Baga Beach and Calangute Beach, making it a very prime and convenient location. Highly recommended!

Beach front property- it's green, it's beautiful! Old buildings, old charm. If you're looking for something serene in baga's chaos, this is the place. If you want hotel like amenities maybe find something else. :)

Very bad experience. I booked rooms from 26th to 28th December, but I could not tolerate staying there for more than one day. The toilets were like public restrooms, there was no hot water, and most taps were leaking. Despite being a large property with around 82 rooms, not a single room was well maintained. The staff was unprofessional. Overall, a horrible experience.

Very bad experience, for such high price, rooms were very unhygienic. Not at all maintained. Pool was not cleaned. To access such dirty pool, swimming costumes were compulsory. Jacuzzi was chargeable as per 30 mins rate. Pathetic property. Only the plus point Iz beach is accessible but have to walk for about 100-200 mtr & it is not a beach facing property.

Very disappointing experience 1.Service was extremely poor. 2.The reception staff never listen and are not at all guest-friendly. 3.During our 2-day stay, they never cleaned our room and kept giving excuses. 4.WiFi was not working throughout the stay. If you want a smooth and comfortable stay, don’t go for this property.

Been first time here but an amazing place to stay right near the beach. Just walk and beach is there. At first reading the previous reviews was a little scared to get it to this place but definitely a worth to stay. And the hospitality, service, ambience, everything was great. We'll definitely come again

The Room was stinking as if it was a public toilet. Tried talking to the reception to chef the room but I knew it was in vain. No hot water in the room! Service is quite slow. Very less staff like just 2-3! The only good thing about this property is that it was that it is located on the beach! Will not recommend nor will We ever book it again!

Single 0watt bulb in entire room. Extremely dim in washroom. No mirror in room. No geyser and had to go to reception for them to turn on geyser that too never worked in my 3day stay. Had to change rooms due to rotting smell from bathroom Just for tv and fridge in room they charge extra Path to beach not lit at all and dangerous as tall grases where snake could be hiding Cherry on top there is cremation ground adjacent to property

Worst experience ever, do not book online, they are collecting reviews by demand. No active staff, no proper toiletries. Poor mentainance and we have even paid 320 rupees for 4 cups tea which was tasted horrible don't take any snacks from them ,staffs were also irresponsible.

I stayed here for a couple of days. The location is very convenient, but the property feels quite old and is poorly maintained. The rooms were dirty, with fungus visible throughout, and the washrooms were unclean. Overall, the place felt neglected and unhygienic. Given its condition, I believe there are better — and even cheaper — options available nearby.

Stayed for 2 nights. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all — very poor coverage, and even Jio network was unavailable. Lots of big mosquitoes. The beach is about a 3-minute walk away. The pool is large and well-maintained. Overall, I’d rate it 7/10.

We were 9 friends. We booked 4 rooms. 1. In 3 people sharing room at Ground Floor, AC was not working, even hot water shower was not working. 2. In 2nd room at 1st floor, there was electric current in hand shower. 3. There was no food in resturent at lunch. They had only fries and egg omlette. Fish, Chicken nothing was there. They told food is over and timing was 2.00 p.m. 4. Dental Kit and Hot water Kettle is chargable. This is horrible. 5. If you just stand in hotel premises for 15 min in the evening, you will diagnosed with Maleria next day. Now imagine the mosquito level. 6. At Midnight there was load shading.

The biggest highlight of the resort is its direct access to the beach. Just a short walk through the garden, and you’re right on the sand near Calangute and Baga—one of the liveliest parts of North Goa. The resort itself is surrounded by lush greenery, which gives it a peaceful, tropical feel despite being so close to the main beach scene. Best resort in this area.

2 stars for the location.Mr.lobo if you are reading this please comment your number so that I can highlight you the basic issues as I am a frequent guest since 2014. But the experience last week was worst to worst . I also asked for your number but was told to email so as to connect with you. As I am a regular don't wanna post the details here but by the start rating u could jugde what we must have faced.
