Exquisitely charming and Cozy theatre in the Heart of London's west end with an incredible history, that showcases some of the world's leading theatre productions with big names such as Bryan Cranston, Pappa essiedu, Marianne jeanne-baptiste and Hayley squires in All my sons, Ncuti gatwa and Edward bluemel in Born with teeth, Rosamund pike in Inter Alia, Brian Cox in various production, Arthur darvill in Oklahoma!, Mark strong and Lesley Manville in Oedipus, hiran abeysekera in the Life of Pi.

Absolutely appalling experience. We bought two standing tickets for a play and arrived just 8 minutes after the stated start time (due to traffic congestion), only to be made to watch the play from the bar on a TV screen. This is completely unacceptable. They claimed this was their policy for latecomers and part of their T&Cs, but nowhere was this (watching the play from a TV screen) stated when we booked the tickets, not in the confirmation email. It feels misleading and unfair. Also, what musical or play actually starts exactly on the dot? None. This policy shows zero understanding or consideration for customers (especially when standing or sitting near the door, without disturbing anyone) The service was bad, the staff were unhelpful, and the whole experience was incredibly disappointing. We paid for a live theatre experience and were denied it. Needless to say, that I left the show earlier because I didn’t have any pleasure to spend 2 hours at bar. I would give 0 stars if possible. I will never come back here again.

The seats were fairly comfortable and visibility was great. There were plenty of friendly staff available to help and answer questions. Beautiful space, amazing play! The acoustics were quite good. As a first time attendee at Wyndham theatre, I was confused because all of my emails came from Delfont Macintosh, which is the group that owns the theatre, but NOT where you should go to see the play!

Located right in the heart of London near Leicester Square, this is one of the city’s historic theatres and the atmosphere is genuinely wonderful. It really does take you back in time. I have had the chance to see several great productions here, most recently All My Sons, which I thoroughly enjoyed. That said, one thing to be aware of is the seating. The legroom is very tight, and it can feel quite uncomfortable if you are sitting for a longer performance. Definitely something to keep in mind when booking.

All My Sons was an outstanding play. Watching Bryan Cranston, the lead actor from Breaking Bad, live on stage was truly unforgettable. It’s a production that makes you think, makes you laugh, and confronts you with harsh truths in a powerful way. The music and lighting were absolutely excellent. Highly recommended.

I love the programme here - just went to see Born With Teeth (highly recommended!!) - and the size of the theatre. It feels very intimate. Plus the location right next to Leicester Square Station makes it so easy to access!

Beautiful theatre and fantastic performance of All My Sons with a great cast. We were sat centre of row C and the view was great.

A lovely looking theatre which appears unchanged from days gone by. Pleasant and helpful staff with my only negative being the chairs are a little outdated for a longer play such as the 2+ hours tonight which left me numb and uncomfortable.

We went to see born with teeth and it was amazing. Even with more affordable seats in the grand circle, the view was good, temperature right and seats comfortable . Preordered our drinks which was easy to collect, clean bathrooms and easy location very close to tube station. Also did stage door and staff was extremely polite.

Watched Born with Teeth on a rainy Wednesday evening. The show... ahhhmazing! The staff, friendly and considerate, in particular, an usher on the inside near P seating area. I was worried about being so far away from the stage that I wouldn't be able to see, but the theatre is intimate so cute! The facilities were clean and easily accessible. There is also a check in cloakroom, but I didn't need to use it.

We went to see All of my sons. Great play well acted. Super venue, everyone can see everything! Rather snug though!

Beautiful theatre, probably one of the most stunning I've seen. Could have done without the security at stage door behaving like thugs; both the theatre employed and the actor employed security. Speaking to fans in the most condescending way I've heard (and I've toured with some of the most famous bands in the world). There's absolutely no need for it. Remember these fans are paying your wages.

A splendid theatre! There's almost nowhere else which embodies the West End as well. The staff are all lovely and helpful. One went out of his way to help an older chap who was struggling with the steps. It turned out to be Mike Leigh! If it's good enough for him...

Saw Born with Teeth here in September 2025. Lovely cozy theatre. Good acoustics. Enjoyed the play. Gladly see another production here.

Beautiful theatre! And „Born With Teeth” witch Ncuti Gatwa and Edward Bluemel is absolutely amazing - sexy, funny and so so smart. In love!

The theatre is beautiful. The seats have proper cushioning so they are more comfortable than at some other theatres, however leg space is still limited. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would have liked if they were phasing people in more slowly and controlling the flow better as it got a bit crowded going up to our seats to the grand circle which can feel overwhelming/claustrophobic.

Beautifully decorated theatre, surprisingly comfortable seats for such an old building. Quite a steep rake in the upper circles but all seats had a good view of the stage. Bar areas were quite small and got crowded very quickly but service was very quick.

Schönes altes Theater. Wer allerdings lange Beine hat, bekommt leichte Probleme. Was sehr hervor zu heben ist, das das Personal sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich ist. Da ich im Moment auf Gehilfen angewiesen bin, hatte ich die ganze Zeit Hilfe. Vorbildlich!!!!

Lovely theatre, this is literally next door to the Tottenham Road tube station and a few stops from Euston, that makes it brilliant for getting to. As usual, due to ticket prices, we were up in the gods and although I'm not that tall, my knees were right up against the seat Infront of me and had the show been 10 minutes longer, I think I would have to had got up and left. I was wriggling all over the place trying to get comfortable. To add to that, we couldn't see the front of the stage due to view problems. I would go back to this theatre, but only if I could afford the lower decks. Paddington, the show, was brilliant, our kids were all over it!
