The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most spiritually powerful place. It's one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, it holds immense significance for devotees of Lord Shiva. The temple corridor complex is well maintained, and the newly developed corridor makes access much smoother while preserving the sanctity of the shrine. The energy inside the sanctum is indescribable—chanting of mantras, the fragrance of incense, and the sight of the golden spire together create a divine atmosphere. Security and crowd management are well-organized. It's life ambition to visit this temple for many Indians. Visiting here feels like connecting directly with centuries of faith and devotion. Truly a must-visit for anyone coming to Varanasi.

Kashi Vishwanath is one of the most sacred Jyotirlingas and an important pilgrimage destination for devotees from both North and South India. The temple premises are very clean and well maintained. Security is strict. Mobile phones, leather items, and sanitizers are not allowed inside the temple. There is a proper security check before entry, so visitors should plan accordingly. The aarti is truly mesmerizing and spiritually uplifting. However, during the aarti, locals often occupy prime spots, and if you are standing behind, your view may be blocked as people tend to stand in front. The lanes leading to the temple are lined with shops on both sides, making movement quite congested, especially during peak hours. It is best to travel by auto or electric rickshaw. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. Avoid bringing a car, as parking space in and around the temple area is very limited. Overall, it is a deeply spiritual experience, but visitors should be prepared for crowds and plan their travel carefully.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple One of the most spiritually significant temples in India and the heart of Varanasi. The temple complex is well-maintained, security is tight, and the atmosphere around the sanctum is deeply devotional. Despite the large crowds, the darshan experience feels special and memorable. Be prepared for long queues, especially during weekends, festivals, and auspicious days. Waiting times can easily stretch up to 4 hours or more. We were fortunate and completed our darshan in just 40 minutes. The newly developed corridor connecting the temple to the ghats has greatly improved accessibility and offers a much more organized experience for pilgrims. Tip: Avoid visiting on weekends and major festivals if possible. ⭐ Must-visit for devotees and anyone looking to experience the spiritual essence of Varanasi.

Visiting the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple was a truly divine and unforgettable experience. The spiritual atmosphere, the chants of "Har Har Mahadev," and the presence of Baba Vishwanath fill the heart with peace and devotion. The temple premises are well-maintained, and the darshan arrangements are organized despite the large number of devotees. The magnificent corridor and the connection to the Ganga Ghats make the visit even more special. Every moment spent here felt blessed and spiritually uplifting. A must-visit place for every devotee seeking faith, peace, and divine blessings. Har Har Mahadev! 🙏✨

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the western bank of the holy river Ganga in Varanasi. The temple is famously known for its gold-plated spire. I visited this temple in the evening. There was a very long queue inside the temple. The place is typically very crowded. It took me nearly two hours to get a glimpse of the deity's idol. Just as my turn finally arrived to view the idol, the temple staff began nudging people along—patting them on the back and urging them to "move quickly." Consequently, I barely managed to catch a glimpse of the deity. I found myself wondering why I had even bothered standing in such a long queue; it would have been far better to simply offer my prayers from a distance. Perhaps this chaotic experience was a result of the overwhelming crowd. The temple's architecture is impressive, and the temple itself is beautiful. Mobile phones are not permitted inside, but locker facilities have been provided.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is not just a temple but a deeply spiritual experience that touches you from within; the moment you enter, the chaos of the world fades and the presence of Baba Vishwanath feels powerful, calming, and humbling at the same time, truly reminding you that one does not visit Kashi by choice but only when Mahadev calls. For a smooth and well-organized darshan, Sugam Darshan tickets are highly recommended and can be booked both online and offline through official temple channels; they significantly reduce waiting time and also include locker and cloakroom facilities, so there is no need to make separate arrangements for your belongings. Visitors should strictly avoid the shops and agents right outside the temple premises, as many of them are complete scams and will charge money for unnecessary items, fake services, or claims of mandatory arrangements—everything essential, including lockers and darshan access, is already provided with the Sugam Darshan ticket itself. Visit with faith, awareness, and simplicity, and let the experience remain pure and devoted—Har Har Mahadev 🕉️

There are no words to fully capture the sheer spiritual energy of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Standing on the banks of the sacred Ganga in Varanasi, this isn't just a place of worship—it is a timeless experience that shakes you awake from the inside out From the moment you walk through the temple gates, the air thickens with the scent of burning camphor, fresh marigolds, and wet incense. The synchronized, rhythmic chanting of "Har Har Mahadev" by thousands of devotees creates a sonic vibration that you can literally feel humming in your chest The newly developed corridor is a brilliant blend of ancient heritage and excellent planning. It seamlessly connects the historic temple directly to the Ganga ghats. The pathways are clean, beautifully paved, and incredibly spacious, making the pilgrimage smooth and accessible for everyone, including the elderly 🕉️ Pro Tip for Travelers: Book the Sugam Darshan online if you want to skip the massive peak-hour lines. Also, try to attend the Mangala Aarti at dawn—watching the temple wake up to Vedic hymns while the morning fog lifts off the Ganga is a core memory you will carry for the rest of your life

We went here 31st March 2026. We took sugam darshan tickets cost of 300rs. We need to carry print out of passes. We were standing in queue 3.30 AM. Police will manage queue properly not allowed to break queue. When we go for checkin separate line for mens and womens. Carry less things. Do not keep your things specially chappals and mobile outside stores, they arrangment in free of cost after security checkin done. If you will keep it outside they will force you to take something from their shop. Once you keep your mobile and Chappal you will go one more security checkin and they you will enter in corridor. Little mis management when we enter in corridor but you can finish darshan in 15min when line starts from corridor. Must watch: Nandi Maharaj Facing towards gyavyapi majid. Washrooms are clean and still need to maintain. Do not forget to take free laddoos which comes with sugam darshan passes, do ask to security they are helpful.

Peace this place holds>>> If you’re visiting Kashi : Ganga Arti at Assi ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple must be in your list. For Arti you need to reach at least one hour before for nice and clear view of Aarti. And try visiting Kashi Vishwanath temple during the early hours of morning cuz the rush at that time is less.

Har Har Mahadev🙏🏻My first visit to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Varanasi was truly an extraordinary and divine experience. The management and arrangements are excellent, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness throughout the entire corridor and temple premises. Devotees can offer only jal (water), bel patra, and flowers on the Shivling, which keeps the tradition simple and sacred. The Shivling itself is very beautiful and deeply mesmerizing. I feel blessed to had this opportunity for darshan. Highly recommended for every devotee to visit at least once in their lifetime. ॐ नमः शिवाय।। 🕉️ ।। जय काशी विश्वनाथ की ।।

The queues at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple can be long and exhausting. You will likely be approached by many individuals claiming to arrange a 'quick visit' in 30 minutes—I strongly suggest avoiding these middlemen. Instead, go directly to the official temple office and purchase a VIP Darshan ticket for ₹250 – ₹400. It is a much more reliable way to ensure a short, hassle-free visit.

Om Namah Pravati Pataye Har Har Mahadev🙏. Exhilarating, amazing, wonderful, stupendous, encouraging, marvellous and what not, will always fall short of words in writing about the experience of visiting this Dham which is one of the most pious temples of the world🙏. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, as it is known, is no less than a heaven 🙏. Only Mahadev's will can bring you here no matter how well you plan and try. We were really really lucky to get the opportunity to visit and do SPARSH DARSHAN as well as MANGLA AARTI🙏. I can keep writing entire day and for many days to describe all that I know, felt and experienced and then also will fall short of words. So, just sharing a few thoughts. 1. Plan well for sparsh darshan, keep all details and contacts in place before reaching. Only Darshan from 4-5 meteres distance can be done without any prior booking and wait time is dependent on your time of visit during the day, but Sparsh darshan is possible only by prior bookings, protocols, VIP arrangements and above all your luck should favour and on top of all of this, Mahadev should be willing🙏. This happened with us, we had everything in place but there some last minute changes and we were about to miss Sparsh Darshan but as I mentioned, The Supreme was willing and hence, everything was in place❤️. Sparsh darshan is devine and is a very very different kind of feeling with lots and lots of mixed emotions, so, I will not be able to write more about it but inwill highly recommend that given a chance in life, please experience it. 2. Mobile phones are allowed in the newly built corridor. Mandir premise is well guraded and no media allowed. 3. Registered Prasad counters are available in the corridor of the temple, take lot of it and carry home to be distributed among your loved ones. Tasty ladoos, pedas and Tandul Prasadam. 4. Post darshan, try to be in the temple premise and feel the vibe, energy, calm, serenity, peace, blessings and many more undescribable things. 5. Vehicular movements are completely restricted from about 500 meters but cycle rickshaws, e-ricks and VIP vehicles can reach till main entrance, for me it was gate no. 4. 5. Corridor opens on other end at Lalita Ghat which is next to Manikarnika Ghat, so, you have to be careful while travelling with kids as Manikarnika Ghat is key cremation area in varanasi and usually all boat rides will pass through the same. 6. Shri Ganga arti at Lalita Ghat is a scenic and religious delight, please find time to witness the same. You can witness Shri Ganga Arti at many other ghats as well but all the ghats are usually full with devotees during these hours so plan well and also plan well to walk for approx a km while going in and coming out as no vehicular movements are allowed. Not even cycle rickshaws except for 2 wheelers. Sharing some lifetime memories through pics and videos ❤️.

Shri Kashi Viswanath temple is a very ancient and popular temple of Lord Shiva. It was being destroyed by emporer Aurangaseb during the 1660'and a mosque was being built on the remnants of it. The present Kashi viswanath temple is being built close to the old temple after a long time. We could still see the parts of the old temple under the mosque and the court gave permission for the Hindus to conduct rituals there. The darsan at the temple is a very difficalt task because of the heavy crowd. I have to wait for around four hours in the queue to get the Darsan. Anyway everybody should go and visit this historically important hindu temple at least once in lifetime. The presence of Goddess Ganga make the temple even more serene.

Visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple is truly a special experience and a must-visit place if you are traveling to Varanasi. You simply cannot come to Varanasi and miss this temple. The temple is very famous, so there are usually queues and waiting time for darshan. We opted for the VIP darshan, which still took around one hour, but it helped us avoid the extremely long regular queues. You can get VIP entry from Gate No. 4, but for that you have to pay a certain amount. The charges may vary depending on the number of people, but generally it is around ₹250–₹300 per person. It definitely helps if you want a smoother and faster darshan experience. The temple atmosphere is very powerful and peaceful, and you can really feel a strong spiritual energy there. If you are going for VIP darshan with a guide or someone arranging it for you, make sure they properly guide you and explain the history of the temple, the idols, and the significance of the place, as it makes the visit even more meaningful. Overall, it was an amazing and peaceful experience, and I would highly recommend visiting this sacred temple when you are in Varanasi. 🙏

Kashi Vishwanath Temple stands in pure majesty on the banks of the Ganga, acting as a bridge between the earthly and the divine. Even amidst the constant surge of the crowds and the narrow, bustling lanes, there is an undeniable, electric energy that hits you the moment you enter the complex. The sheer scale of the new corridor only adds to the temple's grandeur, making the walk from the holy river to the golden spires feel like a transition into another realm. While the world outside is chaotic, the air inside feels heavy with a thousand years of prayer and a spiritual power that resonates deep within. It is a place where the density of the people seems to disappear against the overwhelming presence of the deity, leaving you with a profound sense of awe and a heart full of unexplainable strength.
