I recently visited Vito Pizza in Kandy with my wife, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, the place had a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The seating area was comfortable and nicely arranged, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. We ordered wood-fired pizzas, and they were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generously added. You could really taste the quality and authenticity of the pizza, which made the meal even more satisfying. The portion sizes were also great and perfect for sharing. Another thing we appreciated was the friendly and attentive staff. They were polite, helpful, and made sure everything was served quickly. The service was smooth and added to the overall pleasant dining experience. Spending time there with my wife made the visit even more special. The relaxed environment and good food created a memorable evening for both of us. Climbing up the 3 floors to get to the restaurant was well worth the effort lol. The All Meat Pizza tastes out of this world, and the base is lovely and thin and perfectly charred. The Classic Calzone is so good that my fiancee has had it on each visit here (3 and counting). Their pizzas are by far the best pizza I have had outside of Italy!! We'll definitely be back again before going home.

An excellent place to have wood-fired pizza that is well prepared and crust was crispy and chewy. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice view as it is located on a hill and overseeing the lake (abit concealed). However there is no lift and one would need to walk up to level 3. The place is abit cramp too as they use big chairs that are comfy but bulky.

The best pizza in Sri Lanka, with an excellent chocolate milkshake. We came back the next day because we enjoyed it so much. There was also a live violinist playing modern songs, which was fantastic. The staff were very kind, and the Valentine’s Day gesture—a plastic rose—was a lovely touch.

Well, there’s just one word for this place. It’s awesome. I have some allergies to onion, garlic, and egg. That was absolutely no problem for me here tonight. It’s worth a walk up the hill for this place. Even up three flights of stairs no reason you should not visit here while you’re in Kandy. This is their original location. I got the carbonara and a mushroom pizza. My wife had a pasta salad and pizza. We had dessert and two drinks. The total was under $30 USD.

Mitarbeiter freundlich, Pizzagrößen werden sogar erklärt, geschmacklich hat die Pizza überzeugt. Natürlich kommt sie an eine europäische Pizza nicht heran aber es war die Beste die ich in Sri Lanka gesessen habe. Der Boden war leider nicht knusprig also von zu unten zu wenig Hitze bekommen. Der Käse war lecker und sich nicht zu viel. Ich kann einer Einzelperson aber schon die L empfehlen. Die M war fast zu wenig. Preise sind natürlich sehr hoch gewesen. Das Ambiente wirklich sehr schön. Ich würde wieder kommen

Food was Excellent. We ordered a large half n half pizza. It only took about 20mins to be ready. Taste was good as always. I went there after few years, now the place has been upgraded. Loved the new interior. Customer service was great. Very friendly and respectful staff. Highly recommended. P.S. There was something I noticed that bothered me. To charge for our bill, staff member took away our card and ran the payment. But I noticed that when they charge foreign customer they take out the POS machine. Room to improve. Treat the local customer the same way as foreign customer. Locals privacy matter too.

Delightful pizza place. A bit of a hike up the slope and steps if you are walking. The four cheese pizza was rich and salty and satisfied our cravings after many days of curry buffet.

Сервис очень радушный, очень внимательный персонал. Заказывали кальцоне с тунцом, 4 сыра и курица+ананас. Кальцоне - топ, остальные пиццы были жирноваты, забрали с собой потому что не доели, в итоге так и не доели. Второй раз бы не заказала. Но тесто везде неплохое - тонкое и хрустящее

It’s almost like being in Italy… except the tomato sauce has a gentle little curry twist. Not bad at all — just don’t tell a Neapolitan nonna. As if that wasn’t entertaining enough, there was a violinist in the restaurant who clearly had no intention of stopping. He played and played and played. We were treated to Swedish pop classics first, followed by a smooth transition into country music. An unexpected playlist, but impressive stamina. And just when we thought the surprises were over, dessert arrived: ice cream… elegantly topped with a sprig of parsley. Bold. Memorable. Confusing. All in all: good wood-fired pizza, great vibes, accidental live concert, and a dining experience you definitely won’t forget. Worth a visit if you like your pizza with a side of entertainment and mild culinary chaos. 🍕🎻🌿

On a very wet night in Kandy we called in to Vito Wood Fired pizza. We had a small wait on the stairs until a table came free. The pizzas come in medium, large, and extra large. The medium is very small. I had the pepperoni pizza. Very tasty and a little oily. Mrs C had the bacon and mushroom and really enjoyed it. Lion beer on draft is a winner.

A must visit! Really delicious pizza!! Loved that they made different pizza sizes, especially when you weren’t tha hungry! Value for money is great! Would definitely recommend it and come again!

Fui a cenar con mi familia y amigos el otro día. Estábamos cansados de la comida de Sri Lanka y nos apetecía una pizza. Podría decir con seguridad que fueron de las mejores pizzas que he comido en mi vida. Los camareros muy atentos y amables y muy buenas vistas a la ciudad de Kandy. Sin duda repetiría!

Безумно вкусная пицца! Тесто идеальное, хрустящее, идеально запеченная. Выбор отличный, и то, что мы заказали, было очень вкусным! Есть разные размеры пиццы: маленькая — порция на одного, средняя — на 8 кусков, большая — на 12. Подача очень быстрая, ждать практически не пришлось. Мы были сыты, довольны и счастливы. Помимо классических пицц, есть кальцоне (закрытая пицца), а также паста и салаты. Но паста скорее как дополнение: основной акцент у заведения на пицце, и делают её просто превосходно.
