VIVA Supermarket - Al Barsha 1, Dubai

My experience with Dinesh for the return items today wasn’t great. He seemed impatient and unapproachable when I asked for assistance. I’m sure everyone has off days, but better customer service would really improve the overall experience here. Viva offers really good prices and their own brands, that helps a lot in Dubai. This particular shop is convenient and clean though there are queues often when one of cashier's leaves the place.

A good choice to buy groceries they offer cheap prices. Although not all necessary items may be available they still offer a wide variety of products. We always come here to buy Toiletries, Hygiene needs, Mixed vegies, Fries and our Favorite a good quality but affordable Ribeye Steak. You might find it long to wait lines as they only operates 2 cashier most of the time. Just do not expect to find all things you needed but you will surely save money on most of their products they also have a newly installed orange juice machine which is a must try very refreshing!.

This branch is not safe when it comes to the expiry of their products. I went to Viva 23/5/26. The expiry of their product is 22/5/26. WHY THE HELL WOULD IT BE DISPLAYED IF IT IS ALREADY EXPIRED. I came home and was looking forward to eat my dinner and the cottage cheese has a very bad odor and it tasted really off so I double checked the expiry and found it was already expired yesterday. Are you guys trying to kill us? This is a VERY SERIOUS ISSUE SINCE YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT FOOD SAFETY. I CALLED HOW MANY TIMES ON THIS BRANCH SINCE IT IS A LITTLE BIT FAR AWAY FROM MY HOME AND NO ONE IS ANSWERING. I called a total of 10 times and they just disconnect the call every single time! THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND YOU ATE RISKING OUR HEALTH FOR FOOD POISONING! I am so angry about this situation. I tried to call their customer service number on their website and no one ever answers on company. I have proof of the product and the receipt of the transaction.

Train your staff member to handle a proper customer service. Guy named Nigam was very rude. he is not fit to be in customer service. He was shouting at me in front of other customer. I just really need my bill.. he can’t print. He asked me if I need the receipt I told him yes then He restarted the POS then told me you need to wait, he changed the counter and left me behind without even apology or anything to say to explain me the situation. I need to wait for 6 mins for a reciept? I asked for his supervisor and he refused and he get angry to me and he shouted while im being calm. This Is not acceptable.

Drove by Viva supermarket Al Barsha (it's on google maps) and stocked up on essentials. Sorry for the trivial subject 🙈 but this toilet paper is just great! 3 ply and cheap as chips. Fresh produce varies, special offers too. I wouldn't buy everything there, check the origin (e. g. Malayan diapers, hmmm...) but there are some great German, French and Italian products amongst others. And who would have thought they'd have alyminium free deodorant? 😅 I had looked at Spinneys and co. and couldn't find any! Don't expect to find everything there as it's small but I like to venture there once a month for essentials. Toilet paper, kitchen roll, cleaning cloths, cling film, aluminium foil, napkins and co.

They displayed one price 3.99 on the rack, while I went to counter it’s been 4.99 , then asked about the problem,they don’t even care about , making fool

Viva is not the same like before the prices have increased also some of the staff are not so cooperative like they just don't care it's sad today morning I was there the counter staff dropped my change then then he just picked It up gave it to me like telling me take ur change and get lost no sorry nothing. Feel sad

Went to Viva in Al Barsha Fri rve after my sister told me about it. It is exactly opposite the Casian restaurant, with street parking (if lucky to find one, I did). It is a neighborhood mart (not a supermarket) and it is not like Lidl (a known chain stores in Europe, each of its stores is more than 4 x this Viva and most of its products are from Germany). Here one finds all the basics in lower prices than supermarkets (for a known reasons). I found decent Belgian chocolates, Ukranian eggs, local chicken breasts, Vietnamese arabica coffee beans, Cypriot peach nectar, Polish mixed frozen veggies and Sri Lankan black tea. I was in and out in 40 min

The cashiers are rude, wrong price mention on item, if ask they answer if u want pay otherwise leave. Before hiring the company should train them about how to treat and behave the customers. Overall, VIVA supermarket is good.

Best price but they don't have enough staff and all the time they have a long queue. Recruit more people or have automated pay machine just like carfour. Dont give us hard time because you don't want to recruit enough people.

Nice and cheap supermarket for daily or weeks purchase. I compared the price with many others bigger size brand chains and I find it much cheaper, especially on rice, pasta, meat and diaries. Veggie and fruit are fresh and in good state, good variety. Last time I went to buy some tea and spices and the end the cashier also gifted us and other customers 2 packs of noodles each, was unexpected but very happy. This store in particular it's not that big compared to the competitor in that area, it maybe the only thing that come in my mind as downside, so it may not have all of everything, but of what you would need in your day to day life they have. The service is effective and personal are kind. Recommend store and brandchain, they also do home delivery and from what I saw, the daily promotion that are in store are also available on the apps, some objects may be cheaper at store, I saw egg at 11aed in store, but on app where 12aed, not much of difference but still something. A good shop for most of your purchases, for something more extravaganza out of the normal need try some bigger store in the area few meters away.

great prices and a variety of options every time. the produce is often fresh and mostly available with multiple choices. there isn't too much support from the staff so you may have to explore, navigate and find anything you need. it's surely among the better choices if you are looking to save some on your weekly shopping.
