Vivanta Ahmedabad, SG Highway

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. What truly stood out was their honesty and care. After I checked out, I realized I had forgotten some personal items. The hotel staff promptly informed me and kept everything safe until it could be recovered. This level of responsibility and attention to guests is truly commendable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. A wonderful experience overall!

I stayed at Vivanta for about 4-5 days and overall this has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Ahmedabad. It wasn’t just good - it genuinely stood out compared to other places I’ve stayed like Lemon Tree and Novotel. Vivanta is way ahead when it comes to cleanliness, customer service, and overall experience. 1. The rooms & bathrooms were clean and maintained well. 2. Whenever housekeeping was done, water was always sufficiently replenished without needing reminders. 3. The staff and housekeeping team were always smiling, greeting, and very polite. It’s not always easy to maintain that every day, but they truly went the extra mile. 4. The food is good, and the dining/kitchen area is also clean and well-maintained. The Negatives/Suggestions: Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about my experience here. Overall, from cleanliness to customer service, Vivanta has been the best among all my stays in Ahmedabad so far. If I visit Ahmedabad again and need to book a hotel, Vivanta will definitely be my top choice.

Absolute value for money. However the in room dining is very expensive, but the food is delicious. A cup of tea will cost you INR 500. The rooms are very well designed and decorated. Ample space. Bar, Restaurant, Spa all available.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service provided by Kajol and her team was truly outstanding – they were attentive, warm, and made us feel very special throughout our visit. The food was simply excellent, beyond what words can describe. Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. A special thanks to the entire team for surprising us with a lovely complimentary cake for our celebration. That thoughtful gesture made our day even more memorable. Highly recommended for both amazing food and exceptional hospitality!

Great place, rooms are bit on expensive side compared to other properties, buffet breakfast is good not big spread. Still can do better on buffet part. Base category of Rooms are quite big, amenities are at par too, even tea coffee selection is nice, bathrooms are quite spacious. Need to improve, In room Dining service time and buffet selection

Staying at Vivanta Ahmedabad was a nice and relaxing experience. Although the rooms were not so spacious,but it was well maintained and comfortable with a cozy vibe. The location of this hotel is right on SG Highway, which makes it a perfect place for business visits or any family gatherings. Breakfast buffet was a highlight with fresh variety and tasty options. Overall loved the modern vibes and supper friendly staffs.

Amazing Allergy Friendly Cuisine by Chefs Hari and Aarya from Vivanta! My son has several food allergies: peanuts, treenuts, sesame, eggs, and dairy. However, Chefs Hari and Aarya from Vivanta Hotel in Ahmedabad saved the day by making yummy allergy friendly food for my son. The food varied from tasty Asian noodles, puris, waffles, and more. My son loved every bite! As a mom who always worries about her son's wellbeing while traveling due to his food allergies and lack of places that are accommodating. For the first time in my 9 years of traveling around the world with my son, I feel that I have found a Gem of Chefs at Vivanda who have made my stay at Ahmedabad more enjoyable and worry free. This is a good place to stay. The staff are courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well planned. The Indus restaurant and breakfast areas are good. I noticed only two negative things here- the music was fairly loud in the Indus restaurant and Swirl dining and we were given a smoking room which was very uncomfortable. This place is convenient from all the destinations in the city

Our stay at **Vivanta by Taj, Ahmedabad** proved to be an experience marked by comfort, efficiency, and understated elegance. Thoughtfully chosen by a friend for its central location and excellent accessibility, the hotel immediately justified that decision by offering us an early check-in—nearly two hours ahead of schedule—which set a very positive tone from the outset. The check-in process itself was seamless and swift, reflecting the brand’s well-honed hospitality standards. Our room was both convenient and intelligently designed, with a layout that balanced functionality and aesthetic appeal, making it easy to settle in and unwind. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The spread was generous and varied, with particularly commendable South Indian options that stood out for their authenticity. Every dish we sampled was flavorful and well-prepared, and the attentive, courteous service further enhanced the dining experience. Overall, our stay was thoroughly pleasant and comfortable, characterized by thoughtful service and consistent quality. Vivanta by Taj, Ahmedabad delivers exactly what one hopes for in a city hotel, and we would recommend it without the slightest hesitation.

The rooms are just comfortable enough , however the linen can be better , they don't feel crisp and fresh . The food is nice at the buffet . I would like to appreciate Ms. Mona at Mynt restaurant, she is an asset to the restaurant, taking care of all the guests at restaurant with a smile and putting an effort to make their experience better .

Had a great stay at Vivanta. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, though slightly on the smaller side. Service was excellent—staff were courteous and always ready to help. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free experience.

Stayed for one day and my experience was not good. Checking in late in night , the gentleman at reception was too far from being polite and courteous. Rooms were good and were cleaned and neatly done. Breakfast was normal but service was pathetic. Ordered items from live counter which never came to me even after a reminder and waiting for good 20 minutes. Expectations were too high from a TAJ hotel property but ended with big disappointment. As they say because of few bad all good work done is wasted.

I had a good stay. Only issue was, though I had paid for breakfast, it was not uploaded onto my room tariff and it was embarrassing when the restaurant executive said that breakfast was not included in my tariff when I was actually having breakfast in the restaurant full of other guests. Very embarrassing!

The room is reasonably good but not that spacious. The toilet is also bit cramped with no facilities for hanging clothes inside. The overall room service can also be improved because there was a delay in cleaning the room despite several reminders. The room has good city view.

Not friendly for guests with disability needs. Only 1 non smoking room with disability access in entire hotel and these are blocked by people with extra luggage and no disability need and hotel staff is not helpful at all. For those trying to stay in this hotel to recover from surgery from nearby cancer hospital - pls avoid

Extremely Poor New Year Celebration Experience We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my wife and 12-year-old son. The first two nights were fine, but the New Year’s Eve celebration was a complete disaster. Despite booking the New Year package 7–8 days in advance, the event was badly overcrowded and poorly planned. We were given a side table near the pool where the stage and live singer were not visible at all. The event host conducting family games never came to our side, and we were completely ignored throughout the evening. There was no clarity or fairness in seating allocation, which was extremely disappointing. Service was unacceptable: • No one attended our table for over 30 minutes • No mocktails were served or even offered • Snacks arrived only after repeated requests • Main course was served cold • Replacement food never arrived, even after waiting till 11:45 PM We finally had to leave without dinner and go outside just to experience the New Year countdown—after paying for a paid celebration package. This was a highly mismanaged event, a waste of money, and a terrible way to start the New Year with family. I have already shared this feedback with the General Manager, but future guests should be aware before booking any New Year celebration here. Would not recommend their New Year event to families.

Had a wonderful experience at Taj Vivanta. A special mention to Meet, who went out of his way to help me with all my bags and personally assisted me right till the door. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine helpfulness truly stood out and made my stay feel even more comfortable and welcoming. Excellent service and hospitality as always. 🌟
