Weingart Seaside Hotel

Stayed here for 3 days, the rooms were equipped enough. The view from the room is quite fascinating! Getting there from the Istanbul International Airport by public transport took a lot of time and using it for the first time is quite a challenge so I recommend to use the airport transit. The staff is very welcoming and happy to be at your help anytime. It is very close to the old town and to galata port where you can find some fancy restaurant. +1 for location because front of the hotel there is a port where you can take easily a ship to the asian side.

La nostra vacanza relax. Come ogni anno io e mia moglie ci regaliamo una mini vacanza da 5/6 giorni. Quest’anno abbiamo scelto Istanbul. Premetto, il personale, descritti come ragazzi giovani molto educati. Però… Definire Hotel a 4 stelle invece che un vero Ostello ci è sembrato esagerato e soprattutto scorretto. Un hotel ha tante cose in più. Per prima cosa, un ingresso inquietante, una reception inesistente e senza un bagno di servizio, un ascensore anche quello inesistente, considerando i 4 piani. Nella nostra stanza avevamo una porta in legno comunicante ad un’altra camera da cui si udivano schiamazzi notturni e puzza di fumo di sigaretta. Per la pulizia, allego foto... Ora capisco perché ha così tante recensioni positive... Il motivo? Prima di fare il check out, mi hanno chiesto il telefonino per fare una recensione ovviamente mettendo un voto alto. L’unica cosa positiva è che aveva una finestra che dava sul mare. Con questa recensione, spero tanto di salvare il prossimo.

Leider kann ich dieses „Hotel“ nicht weiterempfehlen. Bereits bei der Ankunft fiel auf, dass es keine richtige Rezeption oder einen festen Ansprechpartner gibt. Die Kommunikation war zusätzlich schwierig, da ausschließlich Englisch gesprochen wurde. Ein weiterer großer Minuspunkt: Es gibt keinen Aufzug, was besonders mit Gepäck sehr unpraktisch ist. Gebucht und bezahlt wurde ausdrücklich ein Zimmer mit Meerblick – laut Rezeption gab es dann jedoch angeblich kein verfügbares Meerblick-Zimmer. Das ist schlichtweg irreführend. Auch der Außenbereich machte einen sehr schlechten und ungepflegten Eindruck. Das Zimmer selbst habe ich letztendlich gar nicht erst angesehen, da ich mich direkt nach dem Check-in dazu entschieden habe, das Hotel wieder zu verlassen. Zusätzlich ist die Lage mit dem Auto äußerst problematisch, da man gar nicht direkt in die Gasse zum Hotel fahren kann. Insgesamt leider eine große Enttäuschung.

I had difficulties finding the hotel, as taxis refuse to get closer than nearby main roads due to narrow lanes blocked by restaurant tables. So I was ready to snap & hate this hotel when I arrived after two dead ends with my heavy luggage. But the host defused my frustratiin with calm kindness and help with luggage (all rooms require climbing many stairs, as there ia no lift). The room is pleasant with view of umbrella street, and the location is great once I found the (construction-narrowed) walkway from bridge. Thanks to staff for making a difficult arrival into a warm welcome. (Note: Google map is inaccurate due to construction & narrow lanes -- if you get lost, take the long way via waterfront & turn right at umbrella street -- the narrow tunnel directly from bridge is easy to miss)

Wow, hidden gem overlooking the Bosphorus!! This is the best hotel for location, peaceful resting and exciting to watch the busy thoroughfare of the Bosphorus. Great restaurants steps away!! Ferry pier 5 minutes. Galata bridge ten minutes. Easy stroll into main city! Beautiful rooms! Friendly reception.

This hotel is just amazing and the staff was very cooperative especially there is a girl named Nadia , she is so nice and sweet her behavior with guests is just loving. Will choose this hotel next time as well.

Stayed here on June 2025 for a couple of nights as solo traveler. I booked the seaside view room (room 302). The view from the window was really amazing - Bosphorus, nearby restos/cafes and Karakoy port. The room has standard amenities, hot water and pressure are okay. The hotel doesn’t have elevator but staffs are helpful in luggages (plus they allow leaving luggages in case of early arrival/going out after check-out). Yakub (receptionist) is THE GUY, keeping good company to his guests. While the hotel is located beside the port which can be busy up until late night, I was able to sleep soundly inside the room. They don’t serve breakfast. However, just outside the hotel, you will find a lot of restos/cafes. What’s best deal in this hotel is the location and proximity to Karakoy port and metro station, plus the area is flat! I will definitely come back. They’re responsive in Whatsapp for easier communication.

Ist nicht wie auf die Bilder ein kleines Hotelzimmer. Qualität sehr schlecht. Der Aufzug ist laut dene Kommentaren schon seit mehreren Monat defekt. nur negative das gesamte Hotel, und in dene Zimmer richt es nach Essen bzw. Grill da unten drunter ein Fisch Restaurant ist. Der Blick zum Meer war das einzige schöne am Hotel alles andere kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen sehr schlecht. Wir habe auch den Aufenthalt auch gleich storniert und ein anderes Hotel genommen.

Otele deniz manzaralı bir oda için rezervasyon yaptık ve bunun için ekstra ücret ödedik. Ancak otele geldiğimizde bize standart, son derece küçük bir oda verildi. Oda o kadar küçüktü ki valizlerimizi bile açacak yer yoktu. Durumu ilettiğimizde çözüm olarak, ertesi gün aynı otel zincirine ait başka bir otele geçebileceğimiz söylendi. Ancak ilk geceyi bu uygunsuz odada geçirmek zorunda kaldık. Daha önce başka misafirlerin de benzer sorunlar yaşadığını duyduk. Otel müdürü çözüm sunmak yerine bizimle tartışmaya girdi. Personelin yaklaşımı ilgisiz ve hizmet kalitesi oldukça düşük. Ne müşteri memnuniyeti ne de profesyonellik söz konusu. Bu oteli kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyoruz. Paranızı ve zamanınızı boşa harcamayın.

Не ведитесь на фотографии отеля из интернета. Вид из окна в delux номере действительно прекрасен. Золотой рог и собор Святой Софии. Все остальное ужасно. Я не буду описывать все недостатки это слишком долго. Просто скажу что мы вернулись с прогулки по жаре, а в отеле нет воды. Ни холодной, ни горячей. Ни умыться, ни помыться, ни в туалет сходить. Вода не появилась ни через час, ни через два, ни утром, ни в 11 часов когда мы решили уехать в другой отель. Не хотите испортить себе поездку - не выбирайте этот отель. Расположение и вид из окна это единственные достоинства. Но при этом из-за этого вида будет постоянный шум пароходов, и ресторанов снизу, запахи рыбы. Открыть окно невозможно на долго, тем более спать с открытым окном. Кондиционер расположен прямо над кроватью и спать со включеным кондиционером не получится так он будет дуть прямо на вас. Если выключить кондиционер то будет невероятно душно. В общем можно долго писать. Просто не тратьте деньги на этот отель. Тем более на 8 ночей как мы. Максимум одна ночь ради вида и можно ехать в другой тихий отель. Лифта в гостинице нет, лестница тоже очень крутая это надо учитывать.

Leider gar keine gute Erfahrung gemacht. Das Zimmer war viel zu klein - wir konnten zu zweit nicht mal zwei Koffer öffnen. Das Zimmer ist im vierten Stock ohne Aufzug, was für uns ok war, für Personen mit Einschränkungen aber so gut wie unmöglich. Wir fragten nach einer zweiten Keykarte - auch das war nicht möglich. Der Service war nicht gut - erst als eine schlechte Bewertung befürchtet wurde, wurden wir um Nachsicht ersucht und uns für das nächste Mal ein besserer Preis oder ein besseres Zimmer angeboten. Da das Zimmer obendrein nicht billig war, absolut keine Empfehlung. Außerdem ließ sich unsere “Terassentür” welche auf eine Feuerleiter führte nicht schließen . Wir hätten aber zugegeben vorab ein teureres Zimmer mit Seaview buchen können - dieser Fehler war auf unserer Seite. Lage war gut, auch gut war, dass wir früher ins Zimmer konnten und unsere Koffer im Eingangsbereich lassen durften. In Summe ist das Hotel aber für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen. Service , Sauberkeit, Barrierefreiheit, Größe und auch die Art wie man begegnete führen zu der schlechten Bewertung.

Burada dört gece deniz manzaralı odada konakladık. Otelin girişi arka sokakta bulunuyor. Konum olarak Galata Port, Galata kulesi, Taksim, İstiklal ve Karaköy rıhtıma çok yakın. Bir dakikacık yürüyüp rıhtıma ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Benim ilk dikkatimi çeken otele vardığımızda otelin isminin farklı olmasıydı. Çok anlam veremedim ama girişte weingart otel yazıyordu. Lobi zaten asla otel lobisi gibi değildi. Asansör yok ve biz dördüncü katta konakladık ama sanırım beşinci kat da var bence bu büyük bir eksiklik. Erkek arkadaşım türkçe bilmiyor ve çalışanlar da pek ingilizce konuşamıyorlar yani eğer türkçe bilmiyorsanız sorun yaşayabilirsiniz. Kaldığımız bir gün doğum günüme denk geliyordu bu sebeple meyve tabağı ikram ettiler bunun için teşekkür ederiz. Oda temizliğine gelecek olursak eğer, biz temizlik saatlerini sorup ona göre odadan ayrıldık. Saatinin geçmiş olmasına rağmen geri döndüğümüzde oda aynı şekildeydi. İki kere talep etmemize rağmen oda temizlenmedi. Ki temizlik için talep gerekmesi de fazlaca absürt. Kaldığım hiçbir otelde temizlik sağlanmama durumu yaşanmamıştı veya talep etmemiz gerektiği söylenmemişti. Daha da garip olan odamızı temizliğe geldiler ve biz yine dışarıdaydık o saatler içerisinde. Döndüğümüzde oda hala temizleniyordu. Sonrasında odamıza girdik fakat tam ben kapıyı kapatacakken temizlik çalışanı kapıyı kapatmamı engelledi ve bahşiş istedi(?!). Yani orada tek başıma kalıyor olsaydım bu tarz bir tavırdan sonra nolurdu bilmiyorum. Havlu ve tuvalet kağıdını yenilemeyi zaten biz söylemediğimiz sürece yapmadılar. Ayrıca çarşafta leke oluştuğu için de temizlik ücreti olarak 1400₺ istediler. Parayı nakit almak için direttiler ve sebep olarak paranın otel şirketine gideceğini ve kendileri parayı temizlik şirketine vereceklerini söylediler. Yani hem bize çarşaf çöpe atılacak o leke çıkmaz gibi gibi azarlayıcı bir tavırla konuşup hem de madem leke çıkmayacak diye düşünüyorsunuz o zaman neden “temizlik şirketi” için (nakit) para istiyorsunuz? Tabii ki de kartla ödedik en azından fazla ücret söyledilerse ceplerine gitsin istemedik. Rezalet bir tavırla karşı karşıyaydık kaldığımız süre boyunca. Asla ama asla bir daha kalmayacağımız oteller arasında açık ara birinci sıradadır. Tamamen fotoğraflarına kanmışız. Ekte otelin olduğu sokağı ve merdivenlerde mahvoluşumu görebilirsiniz.

*Enttäuschender Aufenthalt trotz Meerblick-Buchung – nie wieder!* Wir haben über Check24 ein Zimmer im *Weingart Seaside Istanbul* mit *Meerblick* gebucht und auch *den entsprechenden Aufpreis bezahlt*. Vor Ort wurde uns jedoch mitgeteilt, dass *nur ein Standardzimmer* für uns gebucht sei – ein extrem *kleines, enges und schmutziges Zimmer*, in dem wir nicht einmal unsere Koffer richtig öffnen konnten. Der Check-in war enttäuschend: Statt einer Lösung hieß es nur, das Problem läge bei Check24, nicht beim Hotel – man könne uns nicht helfen und es sei auch *kein anderes Zimmer frei*. Erst nach *langer Diskussion* mit dem *unfreundlichen Inhaber* bot man uns an, ab dem nächsten Tag in ein anderes Hotel der Weingart-Kette zu wechseln. Wir sind *nur eine Nacht* im Standardzimmer geblieben – *mehr war nicht zumutbar*. Zum Glück hat *Check24 schnell und kulant reagiert* und uns den Aufpreis für das Meerblickzimmer erstattet. Trotzdem war die *Enttäuschung groß*, da wir uns sehr auf diesen Urlaub gefreut hatten und unser Vertrauen in das Hotel stark beschädigt wurde. *Fazit:* Für uns kommt ein Aufenthalt bei Weingart nicht mehr infrage – schlechte Kommunikation, kein Service und ein Zimmer weit unter dem, was wir gebucht und bezahlt haben.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The receptionist {Yazan Al Agaa} he was extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. He went out of his way to assist me with everything I needed and always greeted me with a smile. His warm and professional attitude made my stay even more comfortable. I truly appreciate his excellent service and would highly recommend this hotel because of the great hospitality.

The only positive thing is the location. The double bed is actually two beds linked together and there is a space between them, and they used alot that the side of the bed is like this / if you have dizziness you will fall. The sheets dirty, the cleaning is only fix the beed and to put new water and new tissue in the bathroom, and there is no tissue inside the room you have to use the one for bathroom. The most negative thing in the weekend its alot alot alot of noises that we asked the reception to call the police for the people down there it was like they are making a party at 4 in the morning ! Last put not least there is no elevator الإيجابية الوحيدة هي الموقع. السرير المزدوج هو في الحقيقة سريرين موصولين ببعض، وهناك فراغ بينهما، كما أن جانب السرير مائل بهذا الشكل / وإذا كنت تعاني من دوار قد تسقط. الملاءات كانت متسخة، والتنظيف يقتصر فقط على ترتيب السرير ووضع ماء جديد ومناديل جديدة في الحمّام، ولا توجد مناديل داخل الغرفة، عليك استخدام مناديل الحمّام. أكثر شيء سلبي في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع هو الضجيج الكثير جدًا الذي جعلنا نطلب من الاستقبال أن يتصلوا بالشرطة بسبب الأشخاص في الأسفل، كأنهم يقيمون حفلة في الرابعة صباحًا! واخيرا وليس اخرا ، لا يوجد مصعد

L hôtel est bien placé. Les chambres sont petites. Il n y a pas d'ascenseur. Les bateaux juste en face

Australian review here , Amazing hotel , we loved the location sooo much , Cozy clean rooms with amazing vibes and mind blowing views Excellent espresso lab less than 1 minute walk , in the middle of everything , Customer service is amazing , Mr . YACOUB went over and beyond to help us and make our stay comfortable from the minute he greeted us and called us to direct our driver to the minute he helped us with our bags to the main road and to the car , he was absolutely delightful and amazing and helpful We will Definitely be coming again , we were sceptical because of some bad reviews which are definitely unfair , it’s an amazing place yes no Elevetor but they carry your bags and yes it has no straight street access yet they take your bags from the car till your room and although Karakoy is kind of noisy at night the rooms were absolutely sound proof and no smell of fish from restaurants down stairs Very very happy and will definitely come back again ❤️🇹🇷 thanks to our super host and super hero Yakoub ( 5 stars for yakoub and 5 stars to this lovely hidden hotel it’s an absolute Gem )

Otel genel konum itibariyle çok iyi bir noktada, iskelenin tam karşısında ve odasındaki manzara harikaydı gerçekten. Standart 3 kişilik odada kaldık biz. Ancak otel girişinin bilmeyen biri için bulunabilmesi gerçekten zordu. Çevredeki esnafların bilmemesi ayrı bi enteresandı, henüz yeni olduğu için bilinmiyor olabilir. Giriş iskele tarafından değil de Mado cafeden arka sokağa geçince sağ tarafta küçük bir arka kapı havasında. Otelde asansör yoktu ama çok fazla katlı olmadığı için sıkıntı yaşamadık. İç dizaynın verdiği his hoştu. Oda içerisinde restoreye ve yeniliğe gidilebilecek noktalar vardı duvarlar ve pervazlarda.. klimalar çok eski tipti biz Aralık ayında kaldığımız için gece uyurken açık bırakmak istedik ancak elektrik sızıntı sesi gibi ürkütücü bir ses geldiği için uzun süreli açık bırakamadık. Genel çarşaf ve tuvalet temizliği iyiydi ancak tuvalet dizaynı pek rahat ettirici değildi. Duşakabin yerine hamam tarzı oluşu ve dar olması sıkıntı yarattı bize biraz. Tüm bunların dışında resepsiyon çalışanları çok güler yüzlüydüler her türlü konuda yardımcı olmaya hazır ve çözüm odaklıydılar. Eşyalarımızı odaya kadar taşıdılar. Fiyat performans olarak gayet iyiydi.

الفندق مدخله داخل حي صغير وماتدخله السياره ابد اتصل عليه السواق وطلع لنا الاستقبال لبرا الشارع وحمل الشنط الغرفه قديمه والاثاث قديم وصغيره مع انها اكبر غرفه الدرج صغير مافي مصعد طلع لنا الاستقبال للشنط ونزلها احلا شي الاطلاله خيال تفتح ع البسفور والعاملين مره كويسين ومحترمين وخدومين
