Was traveling to Dahisar, had to change Metro's at WEH, (Western Express Highway) . Station kept very well. Everyone is very helpful. They give guidance how to change from one line to another. What surprised me was that the stations are completely wheelchair accessible right from the road, there is a slope to the lift, can buy your ticket and lift upto platform, and wheelchair slopes to allow access higher ground.(see photos). Only after leaving the lift to reach the pavement, then getting access to a vehicle may be a bit of a difficulty. You can walk from WEH to Gundavli Metro Station. From WEH platform can take the lift or stairs down to Concourse, and then down 2 escalators, follow directions to RED Line. Recent additions to WEH is the Mac Donalda and Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets near the exit to Gundavli Metro Station. At Gundavli Metro Station, Jumbo King, Amul, Monginis, South Tiffin House, WOW outlets are there if in need of a bite or drink. In case one is in need of cash an IDFC First ATM is available at Gundavli Metro Stn near the South Tiffin House Outlet. Didn't use it so not sure if cash was available. On the opposite side of the ticket count information of ticket fare, instructions and diagram of Metro Network is available. July 24. On my recent journey, saw person being helped on a wheel chair. So if any one wants to travel, there is a wheel chair available and an attendant is there to help you board, seat you and then they leave with the wheel chair. ( see photo) One may need to ask at the booking counter, and ask them ( not sure of this, maybe when I travel next time will ask) if there can be a wheel chair and attendant at destination station.

Highly efficient metro station with a very convenient skywalk interchange to the Red Line. It is clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located for quick commuting across Andheri.

The node for metro hopping. But mainly has all major eatries. Mcd, kfc, starbucks, nom nom, rustom parsi restuarant. All has a good book store. All open to public at lower level.

This metro station is well maintained like all other metro stations of Mumbai Metro Line 1. It is connected to many industrial areas of the Andheri Suburb. Western Express Highway is at only 2 mins walkable distance from this metro station. The ticket price from Ghatkopar Metro Station is 30 INR/Person/Journey (as of 26th November 2021). Fast food outlets are also available at level 1 of this metro station. Overall excellent experience. यह मेट्रो स्टेशन मुंबई मेट्रो लाइन 1 के अन्य सभी मेट्रो स्टेशनों की तरह अच्छी तरह से बनाए रखा गया है। यह अंधेरी उपनगर के कई औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों से जुड़ा हुआ है। वेस्टर्न एक्सप्रेस हाईवे इस मेट्रो स्टेशन से केवल 2 मिनट की पैदल दूरी पर है। घाटकोपर मेट्रो स्टेशन से टिकट की कीमत 30 रुपये/व्यक्ति/यात्रा (26 नवंबर 2021 तक) है। इस मेट्रो स्टेशन के लेवल 1 पर फास्ट फूड आउटलेट भी उपलब्ध हैं। कुल मिलाकर बेहतरीन अनुभव।

This metro station is at the intersection of both metro lines and provides access to major areas around andheri and the airport. The metro premises are clean, and booking is easy. I couldn't find bathrooms anywhere. Overall, a good hub for transferring from east west to north south travel or vice versa.

Today, I reached Western Express Highway Metro Station around 11:00 PM. None of the ticket counters were open. I asked one of the employees why the ticket counter was closed, and he informed me that the last train had already departed. After that, I took an auto to Andheri and boarded the metro from there. Surprisingly, the metro stopped at Western Express Highway Station as well. I would like to understand why I was informed that the last train had already gone and why all the ticket counters were closed at that time.

Pathetic staff at western express Mumbai metro line. They are unable to manage crowd. Found them sleeping and totally silent during chaotic moments. No difference between local trains and Mumbai metro. Also metro trains are found technically non functional 3-4 times atleast in a month.

Clean station and relatively well managed.

It is advisable for the Travellers to speak softly and to play low volumed music but your announcements/add related musics are extremely loud. How does that work??
