Wild desert and camel safari

I had a wonderful experience staying and camping with Wild Desert & Camel Safari! My host, Dilip ,took great care of the entire itinerary and made sure everything was perfectly arranged. The stay was comfortable, and the location is just a 5-minute walk from the Jaisalmer Fort — super convenient! He also took me around to explore nearby spots, making the experience truly memorable. As a female solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place , amazing host, great vibes, and an unforgettable desert experience!

Our Jaisalmer desert safari was the highlight of our Rajasthan trip! The golden dunes at sunset were absolutely magical — it felt like stepping into another world. The camel ride was peaceful and beautifully guided, and the jeep safari gave us a thrilling glimpse of the vast desert landscape. The evening cultural show with Rajasthani music and dance around the bonfire was simply enchanting, and the dinner under the stars was delicious and authentic. Really had an amazing once in a lifetime experience with these guys. The jeep safari, the bonfire, the beds, the stars absolutely perfect. Food the chai, the pakoreh, the roti, daal, aloo gobi, rice all of it cooked on a wood fire, amazing!! I loved the experience! I have been taken to a Haunted Village first, followed by an Oasis. We then went to a village nearby to see how people are living there. We rode our camels to our camp site from there. It was just us in that area, nobody else was there, It's pretty peaceful away from all the noises. We had snacks and watched beautiful sunset in the clear sky. Then, I sat down and talked to other travellers and had dinner after. I looked at magnificient starry sky! It was unbelievable experience, Thanks to our kind driver and the camel men! I recommend it to everyone who loves authentic experience of the desert away from all the touristic stuff. Thanks Dileep for organising this trip and making sure everything is comfortable for me!

I did overnight camel safari with them it was fantastic. We went to a peaceful part of the desert where the night sky was just amazing. The camels, the equipment, the food, were all very good. I wanted to ask quite a few questions before I booked and they were all answered with patience and clarity. Highly recommended

This camel safari was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure and cultural exploration. We started with a jeep ride, enjoying music along the way, and stopped at Kuldhara Village, exploring its ruins. After visiting an oasis, we met our camels and rode to a local village, where we had tea and observed village life. Later, we enjoyed a meal with the company of an adorable puppy and his mother. As night fell, we had dinner under a stunning starry sky and slept on makeshift beds. The next morning, we visited a gypsy village before heading back to our hostel.

Petit arrêt à Kuldhara pour ensuite arriver près des dromadaires qui nous attendaient sagement. Petite balade à dos de dromadaires pendant une petite heure pour arriver à la belle dune où Kambhira (notre chauffeur de jeep) nous attendait et avait préparé le mignon camp où nous allions passer la nuit. Très chouette ambiance avec également le chamelier, notre copain Sambu, qui chante (excellemment bien) et sourit sans cesse. Bon repas sous les étoiles avant de s’emmitoufler sous plusieurs couvertures. Bref tout ça pour dire que c’était génial et prix très abordable par rapport aux autres offres

This was one of the best travel experiences we’ve had. The Jaisalmer hotel was in a great location, and the desert camp felt luxurious yet traditional. Camel safari and sunset in the dunes were magical. The Tanot and Longewala Border tour was very well guided and respectful, giving us a deep insight into history. Excellent service from start to finish.

Very nice tour. Dileep was very helpful and communication easy. The guided were all kind and always smiling. I was picked up from my hotel to the jeep then we did a few stops on the way to the desert. Then 1-hour camel ride to the dunes where we really experienced the desert life by sleeping outside of tents. Totally recommend: affordable and well organized for a perfect experience.
