Stärken Sehr freundlicher und persönlicher Empfang mit durchgehend 24 Stunden besetzter Rezeption. Das Penthouse Zimmer überzeugt mit sehr guter Ausstattung, hochwertigem Fernseher und gut bestückter Minibar. Der Ausblick ist hervorragend und entschädigt für den teilweise steilen Rückweg vom Fluss. Ruhige Lage und sehr guter Schlafkomfort dank leiser Umgebung und zwei separat steuerbarer Klimaanlagen. Das WLAN ist stabil und für normales Arbeiten und Streaming gut geeignet. Das Hotel hat eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Schwächen Das Bad ist funktional nicht optimal gelöst. Die Badmöbel sind uneben und bieten kaum praktikable Abstellflächen. Die Dusche ist mit mehreren Hebeln und Schaltern kompliziert zu bedienen und nicht besonders nutzerfreundlich. Spa, Gym oder Wellnessangebote gibt es nicht, was aber dem klaren Boutique-Konzept entspricht. Details Internet WLAN etwa 56 Mbit/s Download, 8,5 Mbit/s Upload, Ping rund 117 ms. Frühstück wird auch als Room Service angeboten. Die Lage ist attraktiv, der Weg zurück zum Hotel stellenweise steil, insgesamt aber gut machbar. Preis-Leistung Sehr stimmig, insbesondere im Penthouse. Qualität, Ruhe und Atmosphäre rechtfertigen den Preis. Fazit Klare Empfehlung für Reisende, die ein kleines, persönlich geführtes Boutique-Hotel mit Charakter suchen und keinen Wert auf Spa oder Fitnessbereich legen. Besonders das Penthouse lohnt sich.

Очень красивые люксы (номера), тихая улица, очень дружелюбный персонал, готовый всегда помочь. Хорошая уборка номеров и зон. Очень вкусный завтрак и особенно омлет с ветчиной из индейки, а также кофе! Прекрасные виды из номера (повезло жить повыше), даже не стали подниматься на башню Галата и тратить много денег, так как из номера вид намного выше и лучше. Отличный wi-fi. На крыше - приватная для гостей отеля терраса (без ресторана), откуда открывается чудесный вид на Стамбул под бокал вина с пиццей! Если возвращаться - то только сюда! Спасибо большое за гостеприимство. Расположение удобное - от метро и площади Таксим вниз по спуску мимо магазинчиков и кафе.

Beautiful, clean hotel in a very convenient, safe neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious and very well-designed. The rooftop terrace offers amazing views over the city.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Witt. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, surrounded with good restaurants and in an exceptionally good location to all the sites. The view was fantastic from the Bosphorous, Hagia Sophia up the Golden Horn to Galata Tower. Even more fantastic was the exceptional service and staff. Warm, always helpful and very customer oriented, it was obvious they worked to make guests happy. Breakfast was better than wonderful with extensive buffets as well as made to order eggs and coffee drinks. Highly recommend this well run and beautiful Hotel.

Ein sehr, sehr schönes Hotel, große Zimmer, sehr sauber, Pflegeprodukte super, tolle Dachterrasse mit wunderschönen Ausblick, gutes, ausreichendes Frühstück und ein spitzen Service. Personal total freundlich, nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Einfach alles perfekt. Jederzeit wieder und vor allem sehr empfehlenswert.

A really great hotel in a terrific position. In Karakoy between Istanbul Modern and Pera areas. The surrounding streets feel very local. Great restaurants nearby and easy walk into Pera. Staff are so kind and lovely. Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Very good value for money.

Lage des Hotels ist super zentral und unser Zimmer im 6.Stock war grandios mit tollem Ausblick! Die Dachterrasse im 7.Stock ist definitiv auch ein Highlight des Hotels. Personal war äußerst nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück sehr sehr vielfältig und lecker!

Sehr sehr schönes, indivviduell gestaltetes Hotel mit großzügigen Zimmern, toller Aussicht in optimaler Lage. Das Hotelpersonal war äußerst zuvorkommen ind immer freundlich. Die Dachterrasse erlaubt einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Altstadt un der Galataturm. Vielen Dank

What an absolute gem. Accommodation, location, breakfast, team and price are all hard to beat. The rooms are spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable. All the essentials - sleep quality, shower, cleanliness, WiFi - are top-notch. Apart from isolated examples of style over substance, like the taps which are hard to grip with wet hands, every detail was such a delight. Housekeeping and turndown provided plenty of water and even sweets or fruit twice a day. After intense days of exploring the city, it was always a pleasure to return the this rarefied setting. For a first-time tourist, this is the ideal location. The tram from Tophane takes you directly to all the sights and the airport bus; the area stays safe and lively until well into the night; an excellent hammam and restaurants like within 5 minutes walk. It's just touristy enough, but without the hyper-commercialised touristiness of Taksim and Sultanahmet. The hotel's rooftop terrace gives you a postcard view of the city's largest mosques. The breakfast buffet covers all the bases, including a mix of continental classics and Turkish staples. Coffee and egg dishes are cooked to order. Service was reliably fast and friendly. Any hotel would be lucky to have a team like this. Everyone from breakfast to reception to housekeeping seems to take pride in the work. If only it had a gym. Nobody on staff knew anything about the local partner gym mentioned on the hotel's website. The best solution nearby is Cihangir Sports Club, but that's small and day passes are steep at €20.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. We booked a king panoramic room and the views were excellent. The service at the hotel was excellent especially the breakfast staff who took care of you. Yeah as everyone talks about the steep hill up to the hotel was tiring but took taxis up after a couple of days. The location is very good and the tram station just down the hill. Overall a good stay for a city break. Definitely recommend

Wunderbares Hotel mit guter Lage! Hatten einen super Aufenthalt im Witt. Die Beschäftigten im Hotel sind sehr aufmerksam, Service ist einwandfrei und sehr freundlich! Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügen über genügend Platz. Frühstück sehr gut und ausreichend! Tram ist sehr nahe, der „Aufstieg“ zum Hotel etwas anstrengend aber machbar und man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen und können einen klare Empfehlung abgeben! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

We booked the penthouse and it was amazing. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom great, and the wraparound balcony had spectacular views. The breakfast was so delicious and had lots of variety. You can have breakfast in your room for free but I recommend going downstairs to eat so that you can have more variety. The staff were incredibly helpful. Only issue was our mini fridge was not working, but the staff stored our cold things in their own fridge for us. The hotel is close to the metro but up a steep hill. Also just up the hill a few blocks is a fantastic dining area with lots of cute and delicious restaurants. Highly recommend!

Tolles Hotel, super Frühstück und sehr sehr nettes Personal. Die Lage ist eigentlich in Ordnung bis auf den doch recht steilen Anstieg der Straße. Ansonsten kann man vom Hotel alle wichtigen Punkte der Stadt zu Fuß oder mit der Straßenbahn sehr leicht erreichen. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit Sitzecke. Das Hotel hat im 7. Stock eine Dachterrasse ohne Bedienung. Wir haben uns jeden Abend ne Kleinigkeit zu trinken mitgebracht und haben dort den tollen Blick genossen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt

Perfect location for visiting and seeing all areas of Istanbul and 5 star service all the way thanks to all the staff and Ali on the front desk who really does have all the answers. Our room was big, more like a large luxury fully furnished studio with a kitchen island and sofa suite along with ample cupboard space for your belongings. The breakfast buffet selection was outstanding and the chef cooked perfect omelets for us everyday. The cleaning staff were also brilliant at their job and we came to the suite every evening with clean sheets, towels and plenty of free bottled water. You can even order breakfast in your room at no charge ! Could not find fault in this splendid designer boutique hotel at all and a perfect size for a boutique hotel with just 18 suites which gives it that air of exclusivity, no wonder mrandmrssmith.com have it on their portal. The views from the rooftop are splendid too ! Witt Hotel is indeed a gem and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

It is only 20 min walk from Taksim Square and 35 min walk from Blue Mosque. The view of the hotel is impressive. You don't need to stay at the panoramic-view room. The hotel has a rooftop with incredible views. The breakfast was good. The staff very kind and helpful. Thank you.

Big comfortable rooms, immaculately clean and great service. Location is great for food and drinks and the tram down the street takes you directly downtown. Highly recommended!

Delightful hotel in a quiet area yet close enough to where you might want to go. It’s definitely a boutique property, the rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable. Friendly and professional staff. The rooftop view is an added bonus, as was the outlook from our small balcony. One tiny negative would be with the bathroom fixtures, particularly the tapware, which I believe could do with a re-think at the next update or sooner. We were unable to cool the room to a comfortable or sleeping temperature without opening a window. The T1 light rail stop is a short walk down the hill and will take you to historic Sultanahmet sites, while a 10-minute stroll up to the buzzing Taksim district is highly advised. Nice cafes and restaurants very close by to the hotel and the beautiful Cukurcuma Hamami as well. Glad we read other reviews about the Witt, it didn’t disappoint.

Beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring Istanbul. Rooms are large, exceptionally clean and with great/unusual design features. Lovely views from both the room and roof terrace. Emrah on the front desk could not have been more helpful both before our stay and when we arrived - he went out of his way to help us book into recommended restaurants and provided information on activities. Couldn't have asked for more over our short stay.
