Yes! Lisbon Hostel

If you are traveling solo, Yes! Lisbon Hostel is the absolute perfect place to stay! From the second you step inside, the fabulous staff makes you feel so warmly welcomed and right at home in a new country. The hostel is incredibly well-kept. The rooms are comfortable, and the shared bathrooms are absolutely spotless, which is always such a relief when staying in hostels! But what truly makes this place special is the community vibe. They organize amazing activities that make it effortless to meet people and make friends for a lifetime. The Sesimbra and Sintra tours are a must-do (especially with Fabio!). Their family dinner nights are also perfectly organized—a proper, delicious 3-course meal with soup, a great main course, and a dessert to die for. And the pub crawls? Hands down the best in town! A massive thank you to Gaby, Karen, Tiago, Manni, and the rest of the amazing team (forgive my faded, hungover memory if I missed anyone!). I had an unforgettable time, and this will forever be my go-to stay whenever I’m in Lisbon. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and book your stay with them. Already missing you all so much! ♥️

We loved Yes! Lisbon Hostel. I had 3 average hostel experiences in a row, so I was losing my faith in hostels unfortunately. That is until coming to this one. Claudia at the front desk is delightful and has such a kind energy. The cook (a beautiful lady - I cannot remember her name) made us amazing food - €15 for a three course dinner + unlimited sangria/beer. Breakfast was €5 and had a mix of hot food as well as cold food. The rooms were tidy and the bathrooms were being cleaned constantly. Lovely big lockers under the beds and curtains on the bunk beds!! Finally!! The location is also perfect - as you are within walking distance to everywhere you need to go. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone - it has restored my faith in hostels.

Great location (very central and close to public transit). Rooms were clean and had great AC. Bathrooms were a bit cramped and old, and were shared with the whole floor instead of inside rooms. This is definitely a hostel for those who enjoy socializing and going out! Service was friendly, but I often felt like they were aggressively pushing their activities and hostel offerings (e.g. day trips, communal dinners, bar crawls, etc.). For instance, when I was checking in at 1am, the person at the desk talked for 30 mins about the hostel, when I wanted an efficient check-in experience to go to sleep. Many of their trips are expensive relative to what you could do solo or with a small group. I’d suggest booking day trips to Sintra and eating out in Lisbon independently!

Loved this hostel! Everything was so clean, and service was the best I have had at a hostel. They always have fun events going on. The lounge/common area was perfect, and felt quite homey. I would definitely stay here again. Special mentions to Manni, Nancy, Tiago and Ferrucci 🎤👏🏼

I’ll give 5 stars - I got to stay over for one night, the room was spotless! I had a 6 bed en-suite bathroom, only note for girls and long haired individuals: the shower only had the big shower head. Staff was very welcoming. The blonde woman had such good vibes, the other guys were also nice and helpful: I got to charge my phone before taking my luggage and heading to the airport, all after checkout. My roomies were nice (this def helps vibes + cleanliness) and told me the activities were fun: weekend pub crawl rules.

Super expérience ! Ambiance conviviale, équipe vraiment sympathique et toujours disponible. L’établissement est très bien situé, propre et propose pas mal d’activités, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Les repas sont copieux et excellents, rien à redire 👍 Petite mention spéciale pour les trois filles qui nous ont accompagnés lors du pub crawl : Sara, Emilia et Shamira, merci à vous pour votre bonne humeur et cette super soirée !

I could not recommend Yes! Lisbon hostel more. The rooms and bathrooms were lovely and clean, the hostel is in an ideal and safe location close to a bunch of the main attractions, the pub crawl was fun, the food was delicious and the cooks were some of the kindest people I’ve met — I was so happy I decided to stay here during a short layover. The staff is AMAZING! Julia was so so kind and went above and beyond during my stay and it made all of the difference. I will absolutely be returning here for any future stays in Lisbon

I was recommended this hostel from another traveler while staying at a hostel in Barcelona. He said they were very warm and welcoming and he loved that they did regular family dinners there. I checked it out while I was in Lisbon and was not disappointed. The staff and guests were all very friendly and super helpful. I jumped in to one of their pub crawls (led by Tiago who was just awesome!!) and felt right at home. People looked out for each other and we had a really fun adventure together. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Lisbon.

I keep coming back to YES Hostel every year because the staff and facilities are truly amazing. The team always makes me feel welcomed and at home, and the location is perfect in the heart of Lisbon. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and well organised. It has everything you need for a great stay. A very big thank you to Nofar, Claudia, Cristina, Pedro, Ricky, Manny, Tiago, Tago, Paula, Julie, Fieffe, Chandan, Gustavo and Danielle for making every visit special. This will always be my go-to place in Lisbon. Highly recommend!

My experience has been abysmal. Ricky is a staff member that abuses his power to favor certain guests. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone. The Lost Inn is far superior. The location is better, the service is better, and the rooms are better. Furthermore, I did not feel safe in the Yes! Hostel for a multitude of reasons. The front door was constantly left open and unattended at late hours of the night, the staff are all creepy, and the events are 😣 . Do not stay here.

Let me just say that this was THE BEST experience I have ever had at a hostel! So many people to interact with! The reception/guides were AWESOME! So laid back and easy to talk to! They had so many activities available and had everyone participate and I didn’t feel lonely at all while traveling there solo! Manni really left an impression! Everyone there was great☺️ The location was so easy and in the heart of the center so it was really convenient! The food at the hostel was chef’s kiss amazing! The rooms were clean and cozy! Shower and bathroom areas were always clean! I lost my scarf and shower towel but they were easily located! My overall experience was just a 10/10! Thank you to this wonderful Hostel! I had an amazing experience staying in this hostel. I felt very welcome, safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. I stayed on the women’s only floor and it was clean and not noisy at all. The staff were all incredibly friendly and kind. It is a great place to stay if you are solo and looking to meet people as they have lots of events and a shared common area in the lobby. I went on 2 walking tours with Wendel and Paola, which were both great! I also went on a day tour of Sintra which I also really really enjoyed and thought was a super great price. If you are solo traveling this is an amazing place to stay!

The best thing is the atmosphere here. If you are a solo traveller, you can make friends very easily, especially if you join the dinner and the pub crawl. The bedroom is tidy and comfortable. Location is very central, walking distance to anywhere in the city centre

Uno de los mejores hostels a nivel mundial de los que estuve, me animo a decir que está entre los 2 mejores. Staff muy muy amable y atento siempre, en especial y muy agradecido por el profesionalismo, amabilidad y excelente predisposición siempre de Claudia, a quien le estoy muy agradecido. El Hostel tiene una ubicación inmejorable, desayunar y cenar ahí dentro tiene excelentes precios y también siempre hay muy buenas actividades, tours y salidas para unir a todos los huéspedes. Limpieza IMPECABLE. Por algo tiene las mejores referencias y pude vivirlo y disfrutarlo. Cuando vuelva a Lisboa volveré a alojarme aquí.

Tiago R. Is the best pub crawl guide ever! Made everybody feel welcome and happy, dances a whole damn lute and is só caring. I also loved Titi's bingo, it was sooo much fun. Id recomend you all to go to yes hostel and be part of all the activities they have, but this two...✨ PERFECTO ✨

Haven't got a single critical word to say about Yes Hostel. My time there was great, the place is great value, central and I got to meet many new people. The activities and excursions they run are also great and I particularly enjoyed the Sintra day out. They even allow you to lock up your stuff free of charge on the day of your fight allowing you to enjoy your final day luggage-free.

Me quede acá durante mi estadía en Lisboa, definitivamente fue la mejor decisión, excelente ubicación, todo limpio, las habitaciones tienen buen aislamiento del ruido de la calle (ventanas) y de la recepción donde esta la zona común. Si tengo que sugerir una mejora, es que informen que no se pueden usar las mesas para cenar, cuando hay cena de grupo. Destacar el desayuno que es super contundente y lo mejor el precio (5 euros).

My stay at Yes! Lisbon hostel was amazing. The rooms were great value, and the staff energetic and friendly. The atmosphere in the downstairs bar area is wonderful. Easy to meet new friendly people here, especially with all the events like the bar crawl. Highly recommend!!

No towels, gap between bed and wall was quite big, 5cm, felt anxious that something will fall down. Check in is 24h, receptionist opens the door, not automatic which is good for safety

I spend there 4 nights in female room. The bathroom was big enough, people friendly and service very nice and helpful. Amazing place for solo travellers 😊
