Double & Triple charging clients- Fraud
This happened at 13:00 EEST, Sunday, 28th, 2024 .
The cashier (guy called hisham & something Aqel) charged me THREE times for my purchase of 160jod - a total of 481jod (it showed a ✅ on the visa machine) but told me my transaction was rejected and refused to give me the failed transaction slip to check with my bank. He said we never give these slips out, although in every other place it’s mandatory to give the customer the failed slip.
I got a call from the bank on the spot, informing me that I HAVE BEEN charged three times consecutively. And it was not a fail.
The cashier person acted surprised, his friend came to show him how i was charged three times and he was mistaken.
This is what I have received from my bank, THREE consecutive time:

Are they this stupid or are they in fact double & triple charging customers on purpose?
Attached is a series of back & forth with Amman customer care, which as you will see, he kept using the word that zara "pre authorized" payment although as you clearly see in the bank statement, it was in fact deducted.
