Amazing breathtaking views. As a first time, just a few advices when you’re traveling during summertime. 1. Make sure you start your day around 5 AM. 2. Always carry a lot of water with you. 3. Definitely check out local restaurants. 4. If you have only two days you must check out spot should be narrows and Scouts

Amazing park, very well organized and managed. Best to stop by visitors station and get more information about shuttles and best places to visit that will suite you. Hiking paradise! Shuttles are coming every 5-7minutes and there are 9 points, we did #5 upper and middle Emerald Pool Trail and it was amazing!

Zion was a bucket list for us and it did not disappoint. We tent camped at Watchmen. This is one of the most beautiful campsites we have stayed at but the wind really kicks up at night, making tent camping hard. There were flush toilets and a sink to wash dishes but no showers. The shuttle system is great but there are long lines. We waited over an hour one day and then 40 mins the next. The bus takes about 45 mins to get up the canyon. I suggest starting at the top and working your way down the canyon. Pay attention to which stops are up canyon and down canyon. The park is also very busy and there were alot of people on the trails, so bring your patience. The beauty of the canyon is worth the wait!

One of our all time favorite places and best hike ever. We didn't want to stop hiking because every turn you made was another beautiful surprise. Hiking the narrows is a must. Definitely get the stick though. We regretted not getting the walking stick. It helps keep balance walking over slippery rocks.

After Capitol Reef's stunning colored, sculpted mountains and Bryce Canyon's hoodoo amphitheater, Zion offer s soaring mountains on each side of you, river, and many more non-hiker friendly trails besides the deadly Angel's Landing. It is an exceptionally well designed park with the free town and park shuttle system that centers at the Visitor Center and has many paved trails. - As you drive into Zion, you will go through the Zion-Mt Carmel tunnel - a 1.1 mile pitch black dark tunnel with no lighting, just a few windows of the stunning mountains as you drive through - The park and shuttles are free! Stay in Springdale for the closest location. The Best Western was very nice and Shuttle stop 4 - Favorite easy trails in my order of preference: -- Riverside Walk (2.2 miles, 57 ft elevation change, 1.5 hours) - paved path along the Virgin River in a Canyon -- Pa'rus Trail (1.7 or 3.5 miles, 50 ft elevation change, 1-2 hours) - start at park shuttle stop #3 (Canyon Junction-shuttle only stops going downhill - Not from the Visitor Center) for a 1.7 mile walk on a paved trail near the Human History museum, past the campgrounds and to the visitor center. If you start at the Visitor Center, then you will have to turnaround at Canyon Junction and it is 3.5 miles. - The Grotto Trail (1 miles, 35 ft, 0.5 hour) - dirt trail paralleling the road from Stop 6 (Grotto) to Stop 5 (Zion lodge) - saw and heard a wild turkey. - Weeping Rock Trail (0.4 miles, 98 ft, 0.5 hour) - short but steep paved trail ends at a rock alcove with dripping water - Lower Emerald Pool (2 miles, 150 ft, 1.5 hours) - paved trail to a small pool. It had been dry, so it was underwhelming but if it had rained more, it might have been better. If you are adventurous and like a good view and danger, then try to get a permit to hike Angel's Landing. Someone died the week before we arrived. In the park, there are 9 shuttle stops where you can get off to hike. The following stops have toilets (may be a pit toilet or flush toilet): stop 1 Visitor center - flush, 2 Zion Human History Museum - flush - but you have to walk a bit to get to the museum where the toilet are located outside, 5 Zion Lodge - flush -inside the lodge, 6 Grotto-pit?, 7 Weeping Rock-pit?, 9 Temple of Sinawava - pit.

Came to Utah for a graduation and then got to hike an entire morning and afternoon. The trails are clean and easy to follow. Beautiful views and lots of trails. We got here at 5am and hiked until 12:30pm. The shuttles were helpful. Here are some of the photos I took.

Zion is by far my favorite national park! The Angels Landing hike was the best experience, I can't wait to hike it again. Note: it was a difficult and dangerous hike and it needs to be respected; not everyone can hike it and that's okay. Everyone was really kind on our hikes, respecting the space and respecting others on the trails. If you can't manage hiking long trails, there are plenty of spots to enjoy from a quick car pull off or small easy walks to get to incredible overlooks. Every employee/park ranger/bus driver I spoke with was so kind; they made my visit even better. Reminder to all: bring lots of water with you on your hikes, and have a Ziploc bag to hold on to as your personal trash can until you're able to properly dispose of your trash.

Zion National Park is gorgeous. You don't need me to tell you it has soaring canyons and beautiful hikes. But here are a few tips: The parking is limited. It's best if you are staying in Springdale to take the free shuttle that runs through town every 30 minutes. Inside the park, you will also take a shuttle from one stop to the next to access viewing spots and trails. If you want a bite or drink, stop 5 is the Zion Lodge. Most people stop at the patio restaurant near the shuttle stop, but take a look at the restaurant on the second floor. It has good food. If you're hot, it offers air-conditioned seating, and if you want to sit outside, it has limited outdoor seating with a view. There are nine stops on the shuttle. Many offer access to hikes that range from relatively flat and easy to very difficult. Some hikes require waders to walk through shallow river water. And it can get hot in the park, so you'll want to bring sunscreen, protective gear, and water. Do some research before arriving to see what stops you might want to visit and what to pack. If you are like me and want the most beauty with the easiest access, I recommend stop 4 (Court of the Patriarchs, which has a short but steep walk to a viewing area) and stop 9 (Temple of Sinawava, which has a relatively flat 2-mile round-trip hike into a canyon.)

This is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful national parks. I was lucky enough to visit in February during the off season and visited the park numerous times trying to conquer all the trails- during each visit I was able to drive into the park and find parking effortlessly. The rangers were always posted to answer questions and help maximize parking. February is a great time to do the coveted hikes. At certain points, I was the only person on the trail, at the top of a summit or or listening to the echoes in the Narrows. You feel like you have the park to yourself and it is extremely peaceful. If you are hiking Angels Landing, apply for lottery permit the day before. Definitely a life changing hike that has set the bar for all my future hiking experiences! If you are hiking the Narrows in February, you will need cold weather gear. I rented my waders, boots, and stick from Zion Guru (quality gear- I wasn't cold). It doesn't snow often, but if you are lucky, the snow covered sandstone cliffs are transformed into a photographers paradise. In the snow and ice, don't forget your spikes for your boots and hiking sticks so you can explore deep into the trails.

Zion is breathtaking and well worth a visit. The shuttle service makes getting around easy, and both Watchman Campground and South Campground are exceptionally well maintained. Highly recommended!

Incredible nature, very well organised National Park with free shuttle between interest points and lots of hiking opportunities. Bicycles are allowed to ride on the scenic drive along the buses.

Honestly, I can't understand how could anyone rate this park anything below 5 starts. From the view that looks as close as you can get to the garden of eden (minus the orchard trees), to the shuttles that were so smooth and made it so convenient. Highly highly highly recommended!

A must visit national park. We went late April and the weather was perfect. We managed to hike the narrows and angels landing. Make sure to try and get a permit to hike the chain section of angels landing, it is worth it! Make sure to rent gear to hike the narrows at Zion outfitters the evening before your hike. They're located right outside the park entrance and have reasonable prices

Incredible! The Narrows was a kick and a must do. We went up to the chains at Angels Landing but did not have a pass but got to the same elevation on a nearby trail. So beautiful! The shuttle is awesome and comes really often so no issues getting around. We were there just before the holiday weekend and it was still quite busy. Parking is the only issue here. Get to the visitor center before 8am and you will be able to get a spot on most days. After that??? We really enjoyed the park!

I love the national park is my new favorite place ever but my oldest brother and his wife got married in November 2022 it’s was so beautiful and cold day! We stay there for two weeks, the first week we stay at the Airbnb with my mom’s family side, wedding rehearsal, many more. My sister and I were in Bridesmaid so beautiful!

Gorgeous! This park has something for everyone. Several less challenging hikes with great views. Walking the narrows was very unique. It was a bit more challenging than expected. Defiantly rent the gear. You will need the walking stick to help keep you stable. Do not miss the drive through the tunnel, stunning views on both sides. Enjoyed a casual meal and drink at the restaurant. Cute gift shop too. Definitely understand why it’s one of the most popular parks!
