Mera stay Zostel Udaipur me bahut hi amazing raha. Jaise hi main property me enter hua, mujhe immediately ek positive vibe feel hui. Hostel ka ambience, design aur especially lake view ne dil khush kar diya. Rooftop café se jo view milta hai woh truly unforgettable hai – Swaroop Sagar / Lake side ka sunset aur sunrise dekhna ek dream jaisa experience tha. Wahan baith ke chai peena aur lake ko dekhna sabse best moment tha. Rooms clean aur comfortable the, staff friendly aur helpful tha. Location bhi perfect hai – city ke major spots walking distance par mil jaate hain. Overall experience full paisa vasool tha. Social atmosphere, rooftop view aur peaceful vibe ki wajah se main definitely recommend karunga Zostel Udaipur ko. Next time Udaipur aaya toh main yahin rukunga again.

This was my first time traveling alone and staying with zostel and I loved it. The view of the city and the lakes is beautiful from the rooftop and I would definitely come here again if I visit the city. A special mention to the comittee manage, Arpit, for such a warm welcome and for organizing the games in common room bring everyone together! Loved it.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if your plan is to pick something walkable for city palace area. It was a disappointing experience overall. There was no hot water available in the morning, which was a major inconvenience, especially if you're planning to start your day early around 8 AM. Getting to the property was quite a hassle and felt risky—the location is right on a steep hill, and navigating it with luggage was difficult and even a bit scary. Cars and autos can’t reach the entrance directly, and unfortunately, the staff didn’t offer any help with carrying bags. Food is good in their restaurant. While the rooftop area is nice, you can find similar views at other hotels in the same price range. Its private room, not the dorm, so I can’t comment on that option. Around $100 for stay was too much while consider all aspects. Outside city options - villas and resorts are good if its good vacation.

Zostel Udaipur is the place to be. Rest or recuperate, write, reflect & work. Or just be the tourist. And more, interesting conversations with the host and fellow travelers. This time it was Arpit who welcomed us right from the word go. He has a way with all age groups amd strikes a fine balance with being friendly at the same time responsible to the guests. I must end with the Chef who served us with freshly made and healthy meals and felt healthy.

The biggest plus is definitely its location. During peak season they charge higher rates, which is pretty standard. The rooms themselves are nothing special — if you get a lake-view one, it’s decent, but the regular rooms feel quite small and the bathrooms are underwhelming too. Overall, the hospitality left a lot to be desired.

I traveled solo to Udaipur when I stayed at this Zostel for 5 days. The place is really great when it comes to the rooftop view, accessibility to key spots (85% on foot), engaging with fellow travellers and hygiene in the dorms. The team there is really kind and helpful in guiding and addressing local queries. Shoutout to the community manager Arpit who made late nights entertaining for everyone with games and movies. It was my first dorm experience and one of my most memorable zostel stay too! Arpit became a friend and he made me feel right at home and we had such amazing conversations. Would highly recommend the place and if you are lucky enough to meet Arpit you are in for a treat

Had an amazing experience at Zostel, especially with the community manager, Mr. Arpit. The service and staff were very good. Because of Zostel, I got to meet new people and do a lot of networking. A special shoutout to Mr. Arpit for arranging the Mafia game every day. Best trip ever and definitely one to remember!

Loved the sky deck; they were kind enough to let us practice for a friend's sangeet(made core memories). Awesome view and location accessibility. Market, jagat niwas palace, ambrai ghat and bagore ki haveli is just around. The food was tasty too.

Zostel Udaipur is a lovely place to stay. You get a stunning lake view from both the room and the rooftop café. We stayed for three days and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the lake and city right from the bed. The rooftop restaurant was one of the highlights. The food was genuinely delicious, and though it took a bit of time to prepare, it was totally worth the wait. The staff were polite and helpful. I had asked for a hairdryer, which is usually available only for private rooms, but they still managed to arrange one for a day, which was nice of them. The property is on a hill, so be ready for a little climb, and the common area is smaller compared to some other Zostels I’ve visited. I think the community manager was on leave during our stay since there were no group activities in the common room. Maybe that’s why this five-star review is purely genuine and not one of those “after activity” reviews they usually ask for. Overall, it’s a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Udaipur, with great views and food that truly make it worth coming back. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that outside food was not allowed, and the restaurant closed around 10:30–11:00 PM. My friend and I went to watch the night show from 8:00 PM, and when we returned at 11:30 PM, we couldn’t eat at the restaurant or order food online.

What an amazing stay. Honestly the best trip I’ve ever had. Met amazing people at Zostel and had a lot of fun! The food was amazing as well as the ambience. Arpit, the community manager was super helpful too.

Zostel as always is very clean, close to all tourist attractions. Staff is extremely helpful. Special mention to Community Manager Arpit for his interactions with all the guests. I would recommend if you’re visiting Udaipur you can definitely check out the place.
