I had a very good experience with Dr. Jisha during the birth of my baby. She is very professional, caring, and kind. What I appreciated the most was that she really knew her patients. She remembered me and always made sure I was comfortable and understood everything throughout my journey. She made me feel safe and well taken care of during one of the most important moments of my life. I would also like to thank all the nurses in the Gynecology Department at Zulekha Hospital Sharjah. They were all friendly, helpful, and caring. As a first-time mom, I was very thankful that they took the time to teach me the proper way to breastfeed and care for my baby. They were patient, supportive, and always willing to help whenever I had questions. Their guidance gave me more confidence as a new mom. The hospital facilities were also very nice. I underwent ACL surgery for a complete tear with Dr. Tej Pratap Gupta at Zulekha Hospital, and my experience was exceptional. From the very beginning, Dr. Gupta explained everything in detail—from the smallest aspects to the most complex—until I fully understood the procedure. His way of communicating, combined with his vast experience, made me feel extremely confident, comfortable, and reassured; I had never felt so relaxed with a doctor before. The surgery was very successful. Just five days after the procedure, my pain was completely gone, and now, two weeks later, I can bend my leg more than 90 degrees and stretch it fully without any pain. During post-surgery follow-ups, Dr. Gupta was always polite, attentive, and patient, answering all my questions and explaining every procedure. He also provided clear guidance for recovery and physiotherapy, assisting me throughout the process. My recovery has been amazing, and I am thrilled with the results. I had a small procedure done by Dr. Samah Saad and the experience was excellent.She took the time to explain the procedure and answered all my questions patiently. The procedure went smoothly, and I felt supported throughout the entire process.Overall, a very smooth and positive experience. To be frank for the ease of travel we opted for Zulekha during a emergency situation for my 23 weeks pregnant wife. At first glance the nurses seem to be confused. We came in a emergency and when we told the nurse we felt like the water broke and she was like you might have only felt it , thats the first negative impression we got. Secondly we have been going to different Hospital all these 6 months (Aster) and I would like to quote the name of the hospital too since we have never faced a situation like this over there ever. The nurse didn’t even ask my wife to take a seat least they can do when a pregnant lady is coming to the emergency make her feel comfortable. Thirdly the whole payment system. The nurse asked to me ho to the pharmacy from the 5th floor leave my pregnant wife in the room alone when she is tensed to get AED 7 medicine!!!!! And for this medicine I had to wait for 10mins in the pharmacy with literally a single customer over there and the people in the counter were just chit chatting. I mean how can you hold a bystander who is trying to get a medicine for his wife in the emergency just for insurance approval for a AED 7 medicine… be realistic who cares insurance approval for a AED 7 medicine at an emergency…. REAL FACT The moment we enter Aster hospital they treat all patients equally with care. They dont ask the by stander to run around the hospital to get the medicines , to get approval from the insurance and all. Here at Zulekha everything had to be done by the patient bystander during crisis. Funny part is all this while after initial scanning my wife is alone in the room in an empty floor where there is not even a single nurses anywhere to be scene. Like a literal haunted place. And note that NO TREATMENT WAS GIVEN TO HER UNTILL I CAME WITH THE MEDICINE… Such a disgrace to a big brand. No wonder the emergency at Zulekha is always empty and same time you go to Aster its flooded with emergency cases because people know you want to be treated properly you have to go to Aster in the end…. We reached the hospital at 11pm and left at 1:45am with half test not done due to the delay…. We opened a file at 11pm and got the initial scan and checkup done within 11.20am. Then everything was a drag. The request for blood test and Ultrasound was given to me around 11.55pm. And i had to literally go and give the documents to the insurance guy in the ground floor from the 5th floor. The request for insurance approval was given at 12am and the approval was received at 12:20am. After that the blood sample was taken at 1am… One can understand the delay in each services….for ultrasound there was no further action and finally we said enough is enough and left the premises. Only one noticeable feature and service that was on time was the option for “Request for Taxi” at the exit. The taxi came much faster than any other service in the hospital…

Masya allah tabarakallah..thanks to Zulaikha hospital, especially Gynecologist department to Doctor Humera Bint Raees, Doctor Laila, Doctor Nisrin and team also the staff for my treatment during my stay. Because of Doctor Humera accepted my case so my illness was treated soon without delay. Thank you so much doctor. Allah will return your kindness..amin ya rabb.

I took my token and waited for one hour at the pharmacy for my medicine. After an hour, I asked the staff, and they told me that they had just submitted it for approval. I was then informed that I would need to wait several more time for the insurance approval. If I hadn’t asked, I might have been waiting even longer. This is a very poor service experience. Please improve the system and add more staff to handle the workload.

He recommends what is required to determine the main reason of my abdominal pain and clearly explains the results. Prescribed the right medicines. Now i'm all good🙏 thanks doc.

The doctors are good and professional, but the reception and file-opening process needs major improvement. Due to the outdated system, staff take around 10–15 minutes to open and process each patient's file, resulting in long queues and unnecessary waiting times. While the medical care is excellent, upgrading the reception and queue management system would greatly improve the overall patient experience.
