Bisheh Darband is also home to the Zahir-od-dowleh cemetery, where many Iranian giants of art and culture are buried, such as poets Iraj Mirza and Forough Farrokhzad, musicians Abolhasan Saba and Ruhollah Khaleqi, and writer Mohammad-Taqi Bahar. One of the main attractions of Bisheh Darband is the hiking trail that starts from the end of the road and winds up the narrow valley. He also rescued a German paratrooper who was sent to help them but got stuck on the rocks. He bravely performed this heroic operation and received a medal of courage from US President John Kennedy and was honored by the Iranian government at that time. Bisheh Darband is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Tehran, offering a unique blend of natural beauty, culture, and cuisine.
