Booking Kish is usually the first stop many travelers experience right after landing on Kish Island. Staff approach you outside the airport and offer a free transfer to your hotel. That part is true. The transfer really is free. However, after the ride, you are taken to their office where they present catalogs and strongly encourage you to buy entertainment packages such as scuba diving, water sports, boat cruises, shows, and festivals. The staff are polite, organized, and respectful, but the sales pressure is noticeable. You’re often told that offers are limited, discounts will expire, and prices will be much higher later. In reality, this is not accurate. You can book most activities later on the island at similar prices without any issue. You can think of this place as an information hub to understand what’s available on Kish, but you should not feel obligated to buy anything immediately, especially when you’re tired after a flight and just want to reach your hotel. In my case, they referred me to PADIDEH DIVING & WATER SPORT CLUB and sold me a so-called VIP scuba diving package at a significantly higher price than the standard option. While some of the promises were technically true, the diving center itself did not meaningfully differentiate between VIP and regular customers. The overall underwater experience was essentially the same, making the price difference difficult to justify. It’s important to note that once Booking Kish sells you an activity, they take no responsibility for the actual quality or execution. They act purely as a sales intermediary. Any issues or expectations afterward depend entirely on the service provider, in this case the water sports club. My biggest issue was transparency. If they clearly stated, “We offer a free transfer and then introduce activities,” that would be fair. Instead, some claims were exaggerated, and certain information, including about hotels and exclusivity of offers, was presented in a misleading way. Overall, the service is structured and the staff behave professionally, but travelers should be cautious. Use them to get an overview of what’s available on the island, enjoy the free transfer if you choose, but take your time before purchasing any activities.
