I recently joined a few Trekking and Hiking tours organized by Iran Exploration, and I must say everything was absolutely amazing. The team was not only incredibly professional and kind, but also energetic and very skilled at what they do. They were always attentive and made sure we felt safe and well cared for. The pricing was also very fair and reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the service. Iran itself is a stunning country, filled with breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and warm hearted people. It’s a place that must be experienced in person and i think no photo or story can truly capture its beauty. When I travel to Iran again, I’ll definitely plan my trip with Iran Exploration again. Amazing experience climbing Mount Damavand with IranExploration . Climbing Mount Damavand was a dream come true. Thanks to IranExploration, everything went smoothly from the start. The team was very organized, friendly, and professional. Our guide knew the mountain so well and helped us step by step with care and patience. They prepared everything — food, transport, gear, and acclimatization. I always felt safe. The climb was tough but beautiful. Reaching the top was one of the best moments of my life — standing above the clouds, feeling strong and free. I also had a short visit to Tehran and Isfahan after the climb, which was a nice bonus. If you ever want to climb Damavand, I truly recommend going with IranExploration. They love what they do, and it shows. Thank you for the amazing memories!

*IRAN IS SAFE – See it before it gets too touristic and commercialised!!* Our trip to Iran was planned 1 year before our intended date of visit in April 2024. We were supposed to start with a 7-day Doberar Ridge & Damavand Ski Tour, before continuing with a 11-day Jewels of the Ancient Persian Culture Tour. We have done extensive research on our own, and proposed a very specific itinerary to a few travel companies in Iran for their expert advice and feedback. As we collected and considered all the responses from the companies we have written to, we ended up choosing Iran Exploration as the company to handle our trip. From the very beginning of our communication with this company, we realised that they are different and above all the others. Their professionalism shines through the suggestions and advice they proposed to us. Their ability to grasp the wishes of their clients is admirable. Communicating with them in English through WhatsApp was smooth and easy. As I hold a UK Passport, the process of me obtaining my visa was a little more complicated, but the agent I dealt with, Mahsa, made it all so simple for me. Nothing was ever a hurdle, and all went well. We were confident to make payment of our deposit to the company without any hesitation. We have total faith and confidence in them. Just 1 day before we were to fly out to Tehran, our flight got cancelled due to a conflict between the country and Israel. We booked ourselves on another flight, and that too, got cancelled. Due to this, we had to forego our 7-day Ski Tour. We waited for the flights to resume, and when they did, we took the first flight out to Tehran with Pegasus Airlines and guess what? We had one of the best and unforgettable trips of our lives!! This review is for the 11-day Jewels of the Ancient Persian Culture Tour. Due to the need for acclimatisation, we decided to postpone the Ski Tour with Iran Exploration till next year. We were assigned to Hossein as our guide and driver. Our tailor-made tour went without a glitch during our entire stay in the country. All the hotels that were picked for us were amazing. All the places that Hossein took us for our meals and visits could not have been better! Whilst Iran Exploration worked behind the scenes to ensure that everything planned went as intended and our safety being their utmost priority, Hossein, our guide, was quick to pick up our likes/dislikes and was very accommodating to our requests. He really went all out to make this trip a truly unforgettable one for us. They say a guide can either make or break your trip, as he will be the one spending most hours with you. Well, we were very fortunate and blessed that Hossein and us clicked from our very first meeting! We cannot wait to return again to this beautiful country to visit all the other parts that we had not see this time. And to your question “Is Iran safe?” Our answer is a 100% yes, if you go there with the only intention to experience all its beauty as a tourist. We will not hesitate to return again, and when we do, we will definitely engage the services of Iran Exploration again (and Hossein as our guide, of course!!)

I just reached my home in Brazil after two AMAZING weeks in Iran with the excellent support of Iran Exploration. This trip couldn’t be better and in fact it overcome my expectations. That was my second visit to the country after 18 years and at this time I did make a different tour starting from Tehran than the Caspian Sea coastline, Hamedan, Kermanshah and Isfahan. My guide Mr.Khashi was so kind, so careful on all details and concerned to provide me the best experience possible. DO NOT BELIEVE ON THE NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA YOU USUALLY SEE/WATCH ON WESTERN MEDIA!! This has nothing to do with the reality of the country. Iran will surprise you with welcoming people, excellent hotels and amazing food with a very good prices. It’s difficult to find words to express my happiness and my gratitude to the Iran Exploration Tours and the whole team, who were so kindness and attentative since my first talks with them. They customized my itinerary to fit it perfectly to the places I wanted to see without any kind of stress or difficulties. I’m sure I will come back soon to this wonderful country! I spent one week with Iran Exploration as a solo female traveler to climb Damavand as well as sightseeing in Kashan and Isfahan. I was unsure what to expect — but Iran completely surprised me. I felt incredibly safe, welcomed, and respected everywhere I went. More then in other countries i have to say. The team was professional, kind, and made me feel truly looked after. The Guides Ashi, Bahman and Reza were incredibily professional. And the lovely chef made the best food that i miss every day. I can’t recommend a trip to iran with iran exploration enough. A wonderful experience and i hope to come back to see more ♥️

Ich war jetzt 20 Tage mit Iranexploration unterwegs. Zuerst auf dem Damavand und anschließend 12 Tage Rundreise Qazin, Zanjan, Hamedan, Abyaneh, Esfahan, Shiraz, Yazd, Kashan (Wüste). Die Vorbereitung, Betreuung und Durchführung der Reise war sehr gut. Mein Reiseführer Ashi ist nicht nur ein guter Bergführer sondern auch ein guter Fahrer und Reiseleiter. Es waren spannende und sehr erlebnisreiche Tage für mich hier im Iran. Vor der Reise war ich ja ein wenig skeptisch bezüglich des Landes. Doch bin sehr angenehm überrascht wie nett hier die Menschen sind, dass Land stellt sich in Wirklichkeit ganz anders dar, wie es bei uns in Europa dargestellt wird. Die Menschen hier freuen sich über Besuch aus Europa, sind lustig, feiern gerne, singen und machen Musik. Iran ist ein modernes Land mit einer sehr guten Infrastruktur, in der Digitalisierung weiter wie Deutschland. Ich habe hier alles mit einer iranischen Kreditkarte bezahlen können und kein Bargeld getauscht. Ich kann nur empfehlen dieses Land zu bereisen in seiner Vielfältigkeit und seinen sehr gastfreundlichen Menschen. Ich danke dem gesamten Team von Iranexplorationtour für ihren Einsatz, dafür, dass ich einen so wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Land hatte.

Khashi est passionné par la riche histoire de son pays et donne des conseils pratiques pour visiter les bazars de Téhéran et d'Ispahan. Nos guides de ski Ahmad et Bhatti ont fait de la sécurité une priorité tout en s'assurant que nous trouvions la poudreuse la plus profonde et intacte pendant que nous traversions plusieurs chaînes de montagnes. C'est mon premier voyage avec Iran Exploration et j'ai hâte d'y retourner.

Ich war mit dem Team unterwegs und habe die Tour von Anfang bis Ende genossen. Alles war super organisiert, und ich habe mich in der Gruppe wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Herzblut gearbeitet wird. Ich kann diese Tour absolut weiterempfehlen. Wer auf der Suche nach neuen Abenteuern ist, ist hier genau richtig!

I have been part of a trekking trip with this agency. Its been wonderful. People are very nice, the trekking crew was super professional and the food was absolutely amazing! It's really impressive how tasty food they prepared even in mountain shelter on 4200. The few cultural tours that we managed to slip in after trekking were super interesting, and the cultural guide has an amazing talent to storytelling.
