If you are there you will see the panoramic views of the city, the close-up liiks at intricate carvings.

The Royal Tombs are reached via a set of steps that ascends from the valley floor, near the Theatre. A worthwhile hike from the Royal Tombs leads up to the numerous places of worship on the flattened High Place of Jebel Khubtha, together with a spectacular view of the Treasury. The steps are easily visible between the Palace Tomb and the Sextius Florentinus Tomb.

Very interesting ancient tombs, easy hike from the Treasure. You will have to go up a few meters but as long as you have an average fit, there will be no problem!

Zdecydowanie punkt obowiązkowy podczas zwiedzania Petry.

Royal Tombs to zespół monumentalnych grobowców wykutych wysoko w skałach. Już z daleka robią wrażenie skalą i położeniem. Każda fasada ma inny styl i detale, co pokazuje różnorodność architektury Nabatejczyków. Warto podejść bliżej i wejść do środka, bo wnętrza są przestronne i dają inne spojrzenie na Petrę. Miejsce jest spokojniejsze niż centrum i oferuje bardzo dobre widoki na dolinę.

Carved high into the cliff face, these massive tombs show the power and skill of the Nabataean kingdom over 2,000 years ago. The scale, colors of the rock, and detailed facades are incredible, especially in different light throughout the day. You can explore inside some of the tombs and enjoy beautiful views over the Petra valley. Less crowded than the Treasury and just as striking, the Royal Tombs are a true highlight. Uno dei punti più belli del sito archeologico di Petra. Le tombe reali si possono ammirare da qualsiasi punto del sito. Molto ben conservate, la loro vista è di forte impatto per i turisti. Di ritorno dal monastero, mentre si percorre la strada colonnata, poter ammirare le tombe reali sullo sfondo è un'emozione unica ed indescrivibile!!

Królewskie Grobowce w Petrze są wyrzeźbione z różowo-czerwonego piaskowca przez Nabatejczyków ponad 2300 lat temu.

Monumentální fasáda vytesaná do skal působí neskutečně impozantně a je jedním z nejpůsobivějších míst v celém areálu. Rozhodně jedna z hlavních “wow” atrakcí Petry, kterou nesmíte vynechat!

In my opinion, the 4 royal tomb is much more than the Treasury to look at although their structure were not as completely preserved as the Treasury. Highly recommended to go pay it a visit.

Die sogenannte Königswand (englisch: Royal Tombs) ist eine eindrucksvolle Reihe monumentaler Felsgräber an der östlichen Felswand des Haupttals von Petra. Sie gehören zu den größten und am reichsten verzierten Grabfassaden der Stadt und stammen aus der Blütezeit des Nabatäerreiches im 1. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Zu den bekanntesten Gräbern der Königswand zählen: das Urnengrab, mit seiner großen Terrasse und dem massiven Innenraum, das Seidengrab, benannt nach den farbenprächtigen, wellenartigen Gesteinsstrukturen, das Korinthische Grab, das an die Fassade der Schatzkammer erinnert, und das Palastgrab, das mit seiner mehrstöckigen Struktur an römische Palastarchitektur angelehnt ist. Obwohl ihre genaue Zuordnung unklar ist, geht man davon aus, dass diese Gräber für hochrangige Persönlichkeiten oder Mitglieder der königlichen Familie errichtet wurden. Die architektonische Vielfalt der Fassaden spiegelt den Einfluss verschiedener Kulturen – nabatäisch, hellenistisch, römisch – und das Prestige ihrer Erbauer wider. Die Königswand ist besonders am Nachmittag stimmungsvoll, wenn das Sonnenlicht die Felsfassaden in rötlich-goldene Töne taucht.

ペトラ遺跡と言えばエル・ハズネかもしれないが、このお墓群もなかなかのもの。様々な形から成る装飾とスケール感は遠目に見ても相当な迫力がある。エル・ハズネまで来たのならせっかくなのでここにも来たほうがいい。 近くまで登れるようになっていてさながら迷路のようで中二心をくすぐる。バックドアから来た我ら夫婦はこの時点で近くに寄る元気は無かったが、ぜひ間近くまで行ってみる事をお勧めする。

Sağ taraftaki sette Bizans duvarları denilen kalıntılara dek büyük mezarlar yer almakta. Bunlar kraliyet mezarları olarak anılıyor. İpek Mezarı, Ölü Külü Kutusu Mezarı (urn yada urne ‘yi ancak böyle çevirebiliyorum) gibi meşhur mezarlar burada sıralanıyor.

Bardzo spektakularne miejsce . Warto podejść bliżej i zwiedzić każdy z grobowców z bliska. W środku nie robią wrażenia ale architektura jest fenomenalna , można patrzeć i patrzeć. Faktycznie czuje się tutaj kontakt z historia starożytna w najlepszym wizualnie wydaniu. Zdecydowanie jeden z najfajniejszych punktów zwiedzania Petry zaraz moim zdaniem po Monastyrze równie spektakularnym. Więcej napisać się nie da bo to trzeba zobaczyć 👍👍👍💪💪💪
