Shandiz Restaurant is a clean and well-maintained place. The building and entrance look like a palace, and the interior decor is truly beautiful.
The food quality was good and the portions were enough. However, the prices are quite high, and in my opinion, the experience doesn’t fully justify the cost — it feels like you’re mostly paying for the restaurant’s reputation rather than exceptional quality.
The menu is fairly limited. The shishlik was delicious and high-quality, and it’s clearly their signature dish. The chicken kebab (Joojeh Kabab) and special fillet (Fileh Makhsous) were also good. The rice, however, was very average and not satisfying.
What bothered me the most was the constant focus on money. Outside the restaurant, several people were asking for money just to show parking spots. Inside, despite the already high prices, some staff were still insisting on getting tips. It didn’t leave a good impression at all. We went there simply to enjoy a meal, but the repeated emphasis on tips and extra payments made the experience less pleasant.
