The Shrine of Shahzadeh Yahya and Shahzadeh Isa: A Sacred Oasis
Nestled in the eastern part of Abyaneh, in a neighborhood known as Herdeh, lies a revered shrine dedicated to Shahzadeh Yahya and Shahzadeh Isa, descendants of Imam Musa al-Kazim. While the shrine's architecture sets it apart from the village's traditional houses, its enduring charm lies in its ability to maintain its authenticity, even after restoration efforts in 2007.
A serene courtyard, graced by a grand fountain fed by the village stream, welcomes visitors to the shrine. The striking octagonal dome, adorned with vibrant turquoise tiles, is a focal point of the complex. Inscriptions on the walls of the portico offer glimpses into the shrine's history and past renovations. Intriguingly, the shrine's tomb remains uninscribed, while the ceiling is adorned with verses, poems, and historical dates. An ancient wooden pulpit overlooks the southern hill from the shrine's southern portico.
