Osteria Mario’s pizza-making masterclass was such a fun experience. We joined with friends and honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. Chef Ameena was very sweet and kind with us. She guided us through the process step by step, from stretching the dough to adding toppings and baking the pizza. She kept hyping us up. 🥰 The experience felt very interactive and beginner-friendly, even if you’ve never made pizza before. It was also nice that the package included salad, dessert, and drinks, so it felt like a complete meal rather than just an activity. The staff is also very nice and helpful. The pizzas came out delicious, and there’s something extra satisfying about eating a pizza you’ve made yourself 😄. Great option for friends, couples, siblings, or team outings. We’ll definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and fun experience in Dubai. Such a cozy restaurant in Dubai hills mall, they also have a cute kids play area. They do offer the pizza making masterclass for kids as well. Overall loved the experience and food. 🫶

Osteria Mario at Dubai Hills Mall is a place that immediately stands out for its atmosphere. The space is beautifully decorated, with elegant chandeliers and striking artwork that give it a warm yet refined character. It feels thoughtfully put together without being overwhelming, making it ideal for both relaxed lunches and more dressed-up outings. The service is where it really delivers. The staff are attentive, efficient, and genuinely pleasant without being intrusive. Everything runs smoothly, and you’re not left waiting or having to chase anyone down. The food is solid across the board—well-prepared, flavorful, and consistent with what you expect from a good Italian spot. Nothing feels careless or rushed. The coffee is particularly worth mentioning; it’s properly done and rounds off the meal well. Overall, it’s a reliable, well-executed dining experience with strong aesthetics, good food, and excellent service. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area.

Ordenamos pechuga de pollo. La porción me pareció pequeña, el sabor rico. También ordenamos carne, esta si se veía un poco mas generosa la porción. Sabor rico El ambiente estaba muy tranquilo, a nosotros nos gusta así. No había absolutamente nadie mas. Sobre las 3:30pm El servicio bueno, no amigable pero directo y respetuoso.

It was delicious. As a cheese lover that Georgian pastry was absolutely tasty. (It would be even better if the bread was more toasted) The pasta was very nice too. They also give you huge amount of Parmesan which is nice. One thing I didn’t like about the pasta was little amount of chicken they put. maybe 40% of a breast chicken which is not a lot at all. The Pavlova dessert was good/okayish.. I would not get it next time but that’s just personal. I don’t think it’s worth getting it. Maybe a trimasu would be a better option. The waiter he was excellent and caring. I don’t know his name but he was tall.

Nice chain restaurant by dubai hills mall. Loving the variety selection of Georgian and Italian dishes to choose from. Good thing of this place is family friendly. There is soft play area for any kids wants to go. Would come back in the future.

The restaurant decor is nice and big, there is a childrens play area too. The food was good, we ordered 2 pizzas and pasta. The service is great 👍🏻

An elegant restaurant. Quite a diverse menu which caters for most. Kids enjoyed the play area conveniently located inside the restaurant. Service was a tad slow even though we were one of the first guests.

Went for the Ramadhan ifthar offer(129dirhams) and they had a good choice of starters,soups and mains hot drinks and dessert. The food was good quality however the service was abit slow and they forgot our daughter’s sweet potato fries until we reminded them a second time. All in all it was a good experience and food was tasty.

The service was really good, Thilan was an excellent server. He really made sure everything was okay. food portions were not to the level expected, was quite smaller compared to the price especially the drinks (mocktails). Also, there's a bit of delay in food being ready, however overall food taste and experience was good.

The restaurant was able to host a great event, and managed it very well. They appointed Emil to take care of the guests order, who was on his toes across the event and didn’t miss anything. Also, the restaurant in charge for our event Ksenia was excellent in taking care of the entire event arrangements. We had some last minute changes requested, which they took care and ensured that all guests and kids were comfortable throughout. The food and beverages were top notch!! Kids loved the pizza making, face painting and the overall atmosphere there. Well done and will be back soon!!

Very good food. the ingredients are fresh and also the lamb chop is very nice

We didn’t have a pleasant experience with the food we ordered. The fettuccine was fine (3/5) ; however the penne chicken & spaghetti chicken were undercooked & raw. We had to return it since it was inedible. They replaced it with another plate each; yet it was extremely salty & more like a soupy noodles (as in the pic) than “A creamy penne pasta” as mentioned in the menu. It was not worth the price. You have got to match the quality of the food to your amazing interiors. We are all there to experience both. Definitely disappointed that we chose to celebrate a birthday here. The Georgian cuisine was significantly better. The Staff was excellent!

Probably the worst restaurant I’ve seen in dubai. From the outside looks like there is a Georgian restaurant and an Italian restaurant next door. But when you enter you realice is the same, 2 restaurants in 1. Someone must have thought: I can use the pizza dough to do khachapuri and the pasta mix to do khinkali. What and amazing idea!!! I can have 2 restaurants with the cost of 1!!! Reallity: you enter and you are already confused because you thought it was a restaurant and now you are in 2 at the same time, you receive 6 different menus on the table, drinks, food and kids for both restaurants. Once you finish reading all the literature and you order you receive what’s expected: a bland mix of things with absolutely no sense, flavour or spirit. But don’t panic! you are not the only one confused, service staff is also lost. Staff working backwards to the restaurant folding napkins and polishing and drying service plates totally unaware of what’s happening. The saddest part it’s that I wasn’t expecting anything from this restaurant, it’s a totally unknown restaurant on a shopping mall and even with those expectations I left disappointed

I’ve visited this restaurant three times now, and I want to be very transparent in my feedback. The food is truly excellent — especially the pizza. It’s consistently hot, fresh, and among the best in Dubai Hills. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are polite, kind, and genuinely welcoming. However, what continues to disappoint me — and now makes me hesitate to return — is the service speed and attention, particularly on the terrace. On each of my visits, I’ve had to wait over thirty minutes for a simple pizza order. Even after informing the hostess that I was ready to order, no one came for several minutes, and I eventually had to walk back inside to get someone’s attention. When my order finally arrived after thirty-plus minutes, I had barely three minutes to eat before needing to leave. The assistant manager was kind and offered to compensate, but I wasn’t looking for that — I only wanted timely service. What bothers me most is that no one informed me there was a delay in the pizza section. Had I known, I would’ve chosen a quicker dish like pasta or lasagna, or even gone somewhere else. This feedback isn’t a complaint for free food — it’s a call for better communication and time management. When customers love your food and keep returning, it’s disappointing to see them lose patience over something preventable. I truly hope management takes this seriously. I’d love to come back again, but only if this improves.

A modern Italian restaurant. The menu includes many famous Italian dishes, but not all of them. I liked the atmosphere and elegant decor. Of course, the main advantage of this restaurant is that it is open to the Georgian restaurant. You can order a mixed order from both kitchens and enjoy a double advantage experience. Note: Orders take from 20 to 30 minutes. The second advantage is for families with children, as they have a special play area. The restaurant also has a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the fountain. Overall, my experience was okay. There are definitely better Italian restaurants. Finally, the service was good.

We had very good time in this place. Food was tasty and service excellent. Good idea to combine Georgian and Italian food, everybody will find what they like.
