Hotel Yala Peak

Overall good because it's budget-friendly and the best choice for low-cost travelers. A few staff members were very nice; I loved it. It's easy to access everything. However, you need to upgrade your room size and toilet size. Everything is old; you need to change the bed, and it was not as good as expected.

Wir waren nun bereits zum 2. Mal während unserer 6-wöchigen Nepalreise in diesem Hotel, weil es uns beim ersten mal schon so gut gefallen hat. Und es war wieder sehr schön. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem WC und warmer Dusche, dieses Mal zum Innenhof, wo es sehr ruhig war. Das Bett fanden wir super bequem. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, und vor allem hat man mehrere Varianten zur Auswahl wenn man mehrere Tage bleibt und nicht immer das selbe essen möchte. Auch die Speisen im Restaurant am Abend waren sehr gut und reichhaltig. Was aber am meisten auffällt, ist der ausgeprägte Servicegedanke und die Aufmerksamkeit aller Mitarbeitenden. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut umsorgt, inklusive der Buchung von Bustickets und Flughafenshuttle. Danke an das gesamte Team! ❤️

One of the best places I stayed during my trip to Nepal. As I am from India, there was a small language barrier, but the staff handled everything very well and made us feel comfortable. A special mention to the reception team. We had booked through Agoda, and when we arrived, there was some delay in the booking process. Despite that, they patiently assisted us, provided us with a room, and waited until the process was completed. We took a room for two people with a separate bathroom, and it cost only NPR 1000, which was very affordable. The room and the surroundings were very clean and well maintained. Overall, we had a very good experience at Yala Peak Hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly, and welcoming stay in Kathmandu!

スタッフの教育が良く、室内も清潔、シャワーもお湯出る、ご飯は一階で食べれる。 値段が安くて綺麗でスタッフの態度も良いなら他のホテルにする意味はありません。 ヤラピークは素晴らしいホテルです！ カトマンドゥに行ったら全員ここに泊まって下さい^_^

We stayed at Hotel Yala Peak in Nepal for 7 days, and this was our second time staying here. Once again, we had a truly enjoyable and comfortable experience. The best part of this hotel is the people. All the staff members are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Every time we needed something, it was handled quickly and with genuine care. We always felt well looked after. A special thanks to the hotel manager Esha, who was very attentive and caring throughout our stay. She listened to every detail and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The hotel also has Yala Café & Restaurant, where we tried many different dishes. I especially enjoyed the Stuffed Chicken—it was delicious! The food quality and service were consistently excellent. Overall, Hotel Yala Peak feels warm, comfortable, and homely. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return again in the future. Highly recommended!

皆、親切でよかった。24時過ぎのチェックインでも丁寧に応対して貰えた。設備は古いが清掃も行き届いている。トイレとシャワーが共同だが、とても狭いのでシャワーは入りにくいのが難点だったが些細な問題。 ロケーションが素晴らしく、中心部にしては静かに過ごせた。

The hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of Thamel – extremely central. Everything is within walking distance and you are right in the middle of the vibrant hustle and bustle. Durga, the owner of the hotel, is a fantastic host. He picked us up from the airport, helped us organize our onward journey, arranged hotels and taxis, sending packages back home, and fulfilled every extra wish we had. On top of that, he is just a really nice guy. His staff reflects this perfectly: very well trained, incredibly helpful and attentive. And the food is outstanding – fresh and absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back!

The hotel is at good price with nice vibe and service. The staff are always willing to help 24/7 and professional. The room is big for a solo traveller. There is a restaurant at the ground floor, serving from breakfast to supper. I only tried the breakfast it tasted good and provided good energy at the start of a day. They are willing to temperorily store your lagguage without charges even if you checked out. But here are some points to be noted: 1. No lift here. I was on the 4th floor so it means you have to walk ups and downs every day. Staff would like to help to take your lagguages if you request. 2. In my room, there is no air-conditioning but a fan. It might be hot during summer. 3. The shower head in my room was broken. Water baskets were provided to me to do bathing. Hot water is always supplied quickly. 4. There is no fridge nor cooking area in my room. But I saw there is a pantry in large/family room. 5. You can refill bottle (both hot and cold water provided) at the lobby. All in all, it is a good choice for budget travel. Never disappointed.

The staff are super hospitable and helpful. Isha at the front desk is a sweetheart. The owner, Durga, is really friendly as well as Kamar, the restaurant manager. Whatever you need, they will assist you with it from booking a tour, to renting a motorcycle or just getting a taxi. They really put their hearts into running their business. They are in a prime location. The restaurant has such a diverse menu and all meals are delicious. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I highly recommend staying here while visiting Kathmandu.

Located in a quieter but central part of thamal I would highly recommend staying here. Very affordable cleanz big rooms with working AC and hot showers. The staff and owner are absolutely fantastic we had an amazing stay. The cafe downstairs is also great!

This was my 1st international trip to Nepal and I had chosen this hotel yala peak which is in thamel....Location wise perfect...Service and staff are too good...Specially Esha female staff is friendly and supportive....Highly recommended..

Tenemos sensaciones encontradas con este alojamiento. Nos hospedamos 2 veces allí en el transcurso de un mes. La primera, fue mediante una reserva por booking.com que estuvo perfecta. La habitación súper completa y cómoda. Nos sentimos muy a gusto y por eso, como sabíamos que a las 3 semanas volveríamos, decidimos hacer una nueva reserva pero directamente con ellos, sin intermediarios, y ahí la cosa cambió. Habíamos reservado la misma habitación, donde podíamos cocinar, que era lo que buscábamos, y cuando llegamos, nos dijeron que esa habitación ya no estaba disponible porque otras personas “por cuestiones religiosas” habían solicitado un cambio, y optaron por darles nuestra habitación, dejándonos a nosotros una habitación común, sin cocina, y que para colmo daba a la calle, donde esta justo en frente una obra en construcción, que a partir de las 6:30am comenzaba a hacer un ruido increíble. Todo esto nos decepcionó y luego de un par de días, decidimos buscar otra cosa. Tiene mucho potencial, pero deberían cumplir con las reservas de los clientes.

Outstanding service, excellent staff behavior. The hotel management is extremely customer focused and even better than premium hotels across the world at such a price. Rooms are old but worth money.

Hotel Yala Peak is the greatest!!! My partner and I visited in the spring, passing through Kathmandu three times. We stayed here each time, sampling a few different rooms. The team here is so warm, friendly, and helpful. This made our first few days in the unfamiliar environment especially comfortable. Speaking of comfortable, all of the rooms are so luxe and perfectly clean. The food is to die for, and the coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had. I hope to return soon - if you’re staying in Thamel, this is the spot!

Phòng ốc khá ổn. Có hot shower. Vị trí trung tâm ngay Phố Thamel, dễ dàng di chuyển mua sắm souvenir hoặc ăn uống. Giá cả hợp lý. Ngay dưới nhà có quán cafe bán món Napali Thali set rất ngon.

THANKYOU SO MUCH ISHA AND TEAM the best decision i took while coming to nepal from india was to book hotel yala peak. their helpful mentality is 100/10, they are genuinely good hearted people. like nepali hospitality will forever be etched in my heart coz of them. they helped me when i was stuck with currency exchange issue in every way possible even when it wasnt their problem to solve and when i came back from pokhara back to thamel, it felt like coming back home to safety, they also have a wonderful garden cafe with great food, the staff isha, lalith, saleena are genuinely the sweetest, rooms are neat, and they try their best to accomodate all requests. cant wait to be back here for my abc trek

I stayed in Yala Peak for three days during my Nepal tour. The service was excellent and the room was tidy even though the property is bit old. The property also includes a cute little cafe which serves great food and beverages.

Ho soggiornato 2 volte, la prima per 3 giorni la seconda 4. Tutte e due le volte sono stato benissimo. A questo prezzo non si trova niente di meglio in tutto il Nepal. Oltre alla posizione centralissima, il personale è la vera forza di questo luogo, sono gentilissimi, cordiali, ospitali, simpatici e accoglienti. Colazione fatta una sola volta perché preferivo esperienze più local, ma il cibo di ottima qualità è la location perfetta per rilassarsi fuori dal caos della città! Consigliatissimo
